Hi, I’m Casey and I own Weird and Wonderful Pet Services. We first started in 2018 but took a short break in 2022, we are now reopening as of July 2023 ready to provide exceptional pet care again.
I am a big believer in always learning when it comes to animal care, every day something new is learnt about the animals we have in our home and I am passionate to make sure my qualifications and knowledge are always up to date. I have a degree in animal care as well as lots of other qualifications listed below:
-canine anxiety certificate
- Clicker training
- Canine resource guarding
- Canine communication
- Canine calmness
- Canine bonding and play
- Pet first aid trained
-feline care and behaviour
- I am currently doing a few new courses to expand my dog behaviour and training knowledge
I have experience with many different types of animals and have worked in zoos and wildlife parks as well as boarding kennels and an animal rescue. This has given me a wide range of experience with different species from farm animals, exotics and pets. As well as working with dogs with different behavioural issues.
We offer dog walking (group and individual walks), training walks, pop in pet care, pet sitting overnight in your own home and more. Our main aim is making sure every animal in our care is not just safe but also fulfilled mentally and physically.
Get in touch if you have any questions at all :)
History
Established in 2018.
Weird and Wonderful Pet Services was set up in 2018 by me, Casey! I took a short break in 2022 but restarted in July 2023.
The main reason I set up the business was because I struggled to find qualified and experienced pet service providers in my area. Unfortunately the dog walking industry is very unregulated and therefore anyone can just set up, I wanted to create a business that is different. One that is qualified, experienced and trustworthy. So that is exactly what I did!
Meet the Business Owner: Casey W.
From a young age I’ve always been crazy about animals and learning lots about them. My parents must have been sick of me asking for new pets!
My whole life to this day revolves around them, I’m either working with clients pets, volunteering with animals or caring for my own mini zoo.
