Visited Weirdoughs during BTS weekend in El Paso for the BTS cupsleeve event with two friends, and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was welcoming, fun, and incredibly organized considering how busy the city was that weekend. The food and drinks were genuinely amazing, and what stood out most to us was the variety of options available -- especially for my friend who has severe allergies. It can be stressful finding places that feel safe and accommodating, but the staff was kind, patient, and helpful throughout our visit. You could tell a lot of thought and effort went into hosting the event, and it made the experience even more memorable for fans visiting from out of town. If I'm ever back in El Paso, Weirdoughs will absolutely be one of the places I return to. Highly recommend! read more

This was a very creative and neat place to enjoy a coffee and baked goodies. We stopped by for an after brunch treat on a Sunday afternoon. Not a lot of traffic in the place, but certainly a steady flow of customers. From the moment you walk in you can see all the donuts, cookies, and pastry squares... and then you look at the wall... between the art and the awards, this place is great. My kids enjoyed the "Labubu" cookies, I enjoyed an amazing tasting lemon poppy original donut. I soaked it with a nitro cold brew with a green cream foam - called the Baby Yoda. It was really good. I enjoyed the visit. I noticed most of the folks enjoyed their experience here. It was chill, plenty of room, subtle music, it was chill. Really fun place with interesting flavors. I was really into the sweet potato fritter, but the marshmallow topping kinda drowns out all other flavor. I wasn't really picking up anything at all at all from the snickerdoodle donut, but I did eat it after the fritter so the flavor may have gotten drowned out there too. This is definitely a "quirky" donut shop that sells the same exact things you could get at a Shipley's or Krispy Kreme, but they have weird names and outrageous prices. We were in back in town celebrating a family member's birthday and we were looking for somewhere that could bake a dairy-free cake because of their lactose intolerance. It was difficult!! A lot of places we called offered gluten-free options, but not dairy-free, until we found Weirdoughs!!! The other uncertainty we faced was the fact that the celebration was within two days--we didn't know if a place could have one ready for us in that timeframe, but Weirdoughs did!! I called on a Thursday afternoon and the young woman on the phone stated they did in fact make vegan-option cakes. When I told her our timeframe she stated they do typically prefer at least a 3-day notice or so, but that they did have some options for me within that timeframe. I ordered an 8-inch, dairy-free chocolate cake with fresh strawberries in the middle of it, scheduled for pick up on Saturday late-afternoon. They required me to pay 1/2 or full over the phone, which I had no issues with. Coming into the bakery for the first time, I couldn't help but love the vibes it was giving--large space, super decorated with images and colors reflecting cultural, Mexican-American/Latino pride! Loved it. The pick-up process was smooth and the young woman at the counter carefully packaged the cake right in front of me and allowed me to review it to make sure it was to my liking. It definitely was, it was beautiful. We enjoyed the cake during dinner later that evening and it was definitely a hit! It was chocolatey, the strawberries tasted fresh and the texture of the cake was brownie-like more than "fluffy" in my opinion, but that wasn't a bad thing! Everyone enjoyed it. The 8-inch cake was able to serve 9 of us comfortably (6 adults, 3 kids). Loved my experience with Weirdoughs, they came in clutch and delivered something truly special for our birthday girl. We stumbled here while looking for an open place for breakfast on a Sunday. I had the peach cobbler donut, a hot chocolate, my partner had the guava cream cheese donut and a coffee. They were all good, and I was impressed with the hot chocolate because it tasted really good. It took a bit to get our order, being the only ones in the restaurant, but we did enjoy the atmosphere. Plus it doesn't hurt that I want them to grab them from here because they're my fave local spot. During the holiday season, I always order pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will let y'all know ahead of time they are a bit pricey but when you take one bite, yes one bite, your eyes will widen with a "oh damn" and you'll finish your slice of pie in a matter of minutes. First time going to this establishment. Went for a mother daughter tea for Mother's Day. Had a cute balloon backdrop for pictures. We walked in and had to let them know we had paid for Mother daughter Tea. No one greeted us, definitely self service. We got 2 pots of tea, savory items and pastries for $35 a person. The rolls the sandwiches were on were soft and fresh, however the BLT could have used more than one tiny scrape of bacon.The chicken salad was good,but it was just the salad on a roll. The cucumber sandwich was tasteless. They used the bare minimum on the sandwiches. The chive and cheddar scone was tasty. All the pastries were very disappointing. Not anything fancy or cute for Mother's Day. A tiny dry berry danish, a tasteless lemon cream cookie, a chai muffin and a Madeline covered with a hard white chocolate. The best donut I've ever had! I've already recommended this bakery to several people just based on the sugar cookie crumble donut I had. The iced gingerbread latte I had was a good complement to the donut, but not necessarily the best latte I've ever had. Still good, though! The person taking our order was really helpful when it came to picking out what to try, and there were tons of options and holiday specials. The space itself was clean and decorated. I enjoyed the half dozen donuts I ordered. The plain old glaze and chocolate were really good! Their sugar donut was also tasty! What I really like about their donuts is that they're super thick and doughy. They also tasted fresh which is always a plus. Most donuts I've had these days are too thin but not the ones here! They also offer some interesting donut flavors...jalapeno included! I tried that donut but it wasn't my favorite. Savory and sweet combined isn't really my jam. It's good to follow them on social media because they change their menu often. They especially like to change their menu for holidays. For example, they're offering Bailey's and Four leaf clover donuts for St. Patrick's Day. They also bake cakes for special occasions and pies. Came here for my birthday donuts!!! There were so many interesting flavors, we had to try them all, or nearly all of them. Let me start by saying that I am a donut connoisseur, one might even call me a donut snob Krispy Creme and DDs are not my thing, I gotta have some quality dough behind the glaze/ toppings. This bakery has it! Although they don't really carry your "normal" flavors, they offer some amazingly delicious ones. My personal favorite, which totally surprised me, was their Elote fritter. Hello! First time here. Saw their advertisement for the Strawberry filled cookies and it didn't disappoint. I was worried that the filling would be super sweet but it wasn't. It's not frosting like Ms fields cookies. The fillings Pefect strawberry flavor but not over sweet and light. Then they put some drizzle with dry strawberry crumbs on top. It is very large, enough to share with another person, maybe 3 depending on how much cookie you want. My parents tried the peach fritter and the apple fritter. Both of the fritters were delicious. I also had the iced black tea peach infusion. Wow just WOW. I'd been meaning to try this place for a whiiiiile and I'm so glad I did. They had me at cream cheese! My bf got the regular glazed and he gobbled it right up didn't even share. They're so soft and yummy it's hard to explain. I absolutely loved my guava one, they are generous with their filling and. The donut is not overly sweet it's a perfect combo, not overwhelming. I also ordered an almond milk pistachio latte and that was awesome too, they sweeten it but in the perfect amount (for my liking). If you like your drinks on the sweeter side I'd suggest you add extra. I cannot wait to go back to get their Tiramisu and try other donuts and drinks. Would love to try their donuts, they had quite the variety when we went. The fruity pebble cake we tried was good but I didn't enjoy the texture much--the fruity pebbles took on a sort of stale texture. The macarons were just ok, I got one of every flavor. The biscoff one was particularly good. The rest were a little on the tough side. I'd come back though, they have tons of different goods and I'd like to try a few other items. I was very dissatisfied with both of them. *The strawberry concha donut was very dry, and super artificial flavor... *The horchata old fashioned tasted like oil. I'm pretty sure they fry the old fashioned donuts and they did NOT drain it enough. The raspberry macaron was still raw and the buttercream filling had an odd texture. The apple caramel macaron buttercream was good but both macaron shells were hard and hollow. The tiramisu cake was a let down too. The taste wasn't accurate and it was underwhelming. The cakes on the display had no description of what each one was and they had no samples for the macarons. So, I've been here before and have had custom cakes and such from them but yesterday, we received an order from a delivery service except it wasn't ours (not even from the right restaurant)! My friend and I were pretty upset but we had received some donut holes and regular glazed donuts. Well, let me say, I have not tasted a donut that good in a LONG time and it that, it was just a plain glazed donut. It was soft, flavorful and highly addicting! We ate all the donuts we got lol. Wow, just wow! Our friend told us about this wonderful donut place and what a find! It was definitely worth visiting Saturday morning. It's not one of those places with like a thousand donuts in the shelves but just a few select; and I like that since it means they make sure they do well with those flavors. We got the peach fritter (I believe it was a monthly special), chai tea, lemon rosemary, and the geeen tea matcha creme thing. My husband ate the green tea match creme filled donut and was stuffed which he usually eats like 3 donuts to be full. I had the chai at the time and it was delicious! Very fall-esque flavors and wonderful. We had coffee to balance the sweetness and hung out in the cute shop. Later at home we had the other donuts and still loved them. Thank goodness we still have Dunkin'. I have long waited for Wierdos to open but what a disappointment it turned out to be. The pastries look wonderful on the shelf-- makes you want to dive right in. Sadly the product didn't live up to the looks. I got the apple and blueberry fritters while my wife went for the humongous brownie and an agave donut. My fritters were huge but were not fresh. It almost seemed like they were Saturday leftovers. The agave donut had an almost peach taste to it. It was ok but nothing to get excited about. The only positive was the excellent brownie. But as the wife says, I won't make a special trip just for a brownie. The large cookies look good enough to try so I will go back one day to try those. We did not learn they would not accept my Amex card until we were in the process of checking out so we had to scramble to find the cash. And this place ain't cheap. Better posting is needed. One last very surprising reality: I always figured a donut and coffee to be an excellent day starter. So what kind of donut shop doesn't open until 11:00 on weekdays.
