    Sweet Potato Fritter
    Emily Y.

Really fun place with interesting flavors. I was really into the sweet potato fritter, but the marshmallow topping kinda drowns out all other flavor. I wasn't really picking up anything at all at all from the snickerdoodle donut, but I did eat it after the fritter so the flavor may have gotten drowned out there too. I'd try it again if I was ever in the area.

Milk, Banana Latte, empanadas, Filled Donut, kolache

$40 for 4 pastries, 2 kolaches, a coffee, and some milk. The vibe was okay, but it was crowded because of the BTS concert. The service worker gave us the kolache cold, and then got annoyed when we asked if she could heat them up. This is definitely a "quirky" donut shop that sells the same exact things you could get at a Shipley's or Krispy Kreme, but they have weird names and outrageous prices. Overall, not really impressed.

Dairy-Free, Chocolate Cake with fresh Strawberries inside

We were in back in town celebrating a family member's birthday and we were looking for somewhere that could bake a dairy-free cake because of their lactose intolerance. It was difficult!! A lot of places we called offered gluten-free options, but not dairy-free, until we found Weirdoughs!!! The other uncertainty we faced was the fact that the celebration was within two days--we didn't know if a place could have one ready for us in that timeframe, but Weirdoughs did!! I called on a Thursday afternoon and the young woman on the phone stated they did in fact make vegan-option cakes. When I told her our timeframe she stated they do typically prefer at least a 3-day notice or so, but that they did have some options for me within that timeframe. I ordered an 8-inch, dairy-free chocolate cake with fresh strawberries in the middle of it, scheduled for pick up on Saturday late-afternoon. They required me to pay 1/2 or full over the phone, which I had no issues with. Coming into the bakery for the first time, I couldn't help but love the vibes it was giving--large space, super decorated with images and colors reflecting cultural, Mexican-American/Latino pride! Loved it. The pick-up process was smooth and the young woman at the counter carefully packaged the cake right in front of me and allowed me to review it to make sure it was to my liking. It definitely was, it was beautiful. We enjoyed the cake during dinner later that evening and it was definitely a hit! It was chocolatey, the strawberries tasted fresh and the texture of the cake was brownie-like more than "fluffy" in my opinion, but that wasn't a bad thing! Everyone enjoyed it. The 8-inch cake was able to serve 9 of us comfortably (6 adults, 3 kids). Loved my experience with Weirdoughs, they came in clutch and delivered something truly special for our birthday girl. I cannot wait to come back on a next visit into town to enjoy all of their regular menu items. I would highly recommend this place!!

My mom, her friends, & I attended the monthly tea party, and we had a wonderful time! Every dish was great, and we were given more than enough food. We wish they served the savory items more often so we could go there for lunch, but we'll come back for another tea party in the meantime

Pies and donuts. When someone tells me they need to order pies and donuts in El Paso, Weirdoughs is my immediate suggestion. Plus it doesn't hurt that I want them to grab them from here because they're my fave local spot. During the holiday season, I always order pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will let y'all know ahead of time they are a bit pricey but when you take one bite, yes one bite, your eyes will widen with a "oh damn" and you'll finish your slice of pie in a matter of minutes. I recommend placing your order ahead of time for their pies and checkout their socials for their seasonal pies. Their donuts are so fluffy and tasty. I love the flavors they present.

First time going to this establishment. Went for a mother daughter tea for Mother's Day. Had a cute balloon backdrop for pictures. We walked in and had to let them know we had paid for Mother daughter Tea. No one greeted us, definitely self service. We got 2 pots of tea, savory items and pastries for $35 a person. The rolls the sandwiches were on were soft and fresh, however the BLT could have used more than one tiny scrape of bacon. The chicken salad was good, but it was just the salad on a roll. The cucumber sandwich was tasteless. They used the bare minimum on the sandwiches. The chive and cheddar scone was tasty. All the pastries were very disappointing. Not anything fancy or cute for Mother's Day. A tiny dry berry danish, a tasteless lemon cream cookie, a chai muffin and a Madeline covered with a hard white chocolate. Definitely not worth $35 per person. I had high expectations and looked forward the the pastries. I would not return to this establishment

The best donut I've ever had! I've already recommended this bakery to several people just based on the sugar cookie crumble donut I had. The iced gingerbread latte I had was a good complement to the donut, but not necessarily the best latte I've ever had. Still good, though! The person taking our order was really helpful when it came to picking out what to try, and there were tons of options and holiday specials. The space itself was clean and decorated. It was a larger space than expected with plenty of seating. Totally recommend getting a donut (or a few)!

Cute coffee spot next to Uptown Cheapskate. The desserts look to die for. I bought one of the cupcakes for later and I'm super excited to try out. The decor is chic and cute. Great place for a mother daughter date. Or a family dessert outing really. Cashier was helpful and very friendly. I'll definitely be back for those doughnuts.

What a cute cafe! The coffee was delicious as well as the pastries and doughnuts we tried. We will definitely be back to try new seasonal things as they come out.

Amazing bakery! The ham and cheese egg danish and green chile scone we had were delicious and fresh. The Lady Guava cream cheese donut and lemon blueberry lavender cookies were worth the trip from Las Vegas to El Paso. Vanessa was very helpful and explained the variety of flavors and gave us some great choices. Bakery is very cozy and peaceful.

Wow! I thought I had already written a review for this cool little bakery but...I hadn't! Yummy baked goods are sold here! I would say you should try them at least once. I enjoyed the half dozen donuts I ordered. The plain old glaze and chocolate were really good! Their sugar donut was also tasty! What I really like about their donuts is that they're super thick and doughy. They also tasted fresh which is always a plus. Most donuts I've had these days are too thin but not the ones here! They also offer some interesting donut flavors...jalapeno included! I tried that donut but it wasn't my favorite. Savory and sweet combined isn't really my jam. It's good to follow them on social media because they change their menu often. They especially like to change their menu for holidays. For example, they're offering Bailey's and Four leaf clover donuts for St. Patrick's Day. They also bake cakes for special occasions and pies. I believe those have to be pre-ordered a couple of days in advance. Overall, a good experience. Consider supporting a minority/women owned business. There is something for everyone here.

    Is my birthday!!!

Came here for my birthday donuts!!! There were so many interesting flavors, we had to try them all, or nearly all of them. Let me start by saying that I am a donut connoisseur, one might even call me a donut snob Krispy Creme and DDs are not my thing, I gotta have some quality dough behind the glaze/ toppings. This bakery has it! Although they don't really carry your "normal" flavors, they offer some amazingly delicious ones. My personal favorite, which totally surprised me, was their Elote fritter. Hello! This donut was life changing! It is different from any don't I've ever had, and they NAILED it!! A couple were overly sweet to me, but most were perfection. Thanks for making my birthday awesome! We also bought a loaf of amazing looking bread, but we haven't cut into it yet (still rolling from all those donuts ) Their cookies and pastries also look divine, but I can only eat so much in one sitting lol. Guess I'll just have to come back

This is such a cute place! The area is nice and quiet so it's a perfect place to study. They always decorate for every season, it makes the space feel so much more welcoming & comfortable! They had valentines bakery items available which looked delicious! The staff is very calm and quiet, but friendly. They definitely match the vibe of the place. I ordered a 16oz cold brew with two pumps of hazelnut, and oat milk. It came out to about 4.50 + tip I'm a huge Starbucks girl, but I will say that this cold brew is delicious! I much rather support a locally owned business than go to Starbucks if they drinks & food is better. I'm not a huge sweet tooth person but, I came with my friend a week ago & she got some macaroons & I got a cinnamon twist bread that was absolutely so soft and delicious! The bakery items were definitely made with love. I will be coming back for sure!! if you want to a place to study try this spot! I definitely recommend!

Rudeness with very high sugar content per the owner. She also likes to go back and forth with potential customers

When I paid, I noticed the price charged was higher than the menu price and asked about it politely. They told me it was taxes. I pointed out in response that the tax was in the next separate line under the fee for the item and their response felt like an episode from American dad: When Roger is buying a video camera at best buy. He asks the sales person: "What is the difference between digital and optical zoom" Sales person answers: "nothing. They are the same" " Roger: "but the box says they're different " Sales person: "oh you're right. Well let me know if you have any other questions" I also ordered my mollete dairy free and egg free and it came out it had a white spread ( butter or mayo?) under the beans. It was disappointing after I reminded the person who took my order and it felt they were dismissive. The atmosphere was nice, I like that they serve lard free beans and the food was pretty good but I would not come back here. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
