My experience here has been a masterclass in professionalism, and I could not be more pleased.
I came in with a badly deteriorating four-year-old vinyl wrap. I was having a difficult time finding reputable shops in the area, so I expanded my search into Virginia and was immediately impressed by the number of five-star reviews Exodius had online.
I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and met Shawn. He was not only polite and friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable. After taking a look at my car and asking a few questions, he introduced me to the option of colored paint protection film. He recommended it over another vinyl wrap because of its increased durability, especially since my vehicle is not garage-kept. He explained that paint protection film holds up significantly better than traditional vinyl when exposed to prolonged sunlight.
The showroom itself is clean, polished, and professional. It reflects the quality of work and attention to detail that this business delivers. As soon as I walked in, I knew I was in good hands.
Shawn showed me hundreds (if not thousands!) of color swatches. There were volumes upon volumes of every shade imaginable. I wanted to stay within the same color family while changing things up a bit, and eventually landed on a gorgeous glittering Snow White finish. When the light hits it, it looks just like fresh snow. Shawn even took the swatch outside and held it against my car so I could get a realistic sense of what it would look like.
Once I settled on a color, he walked me through the shop and showed me several works in progress. One concern I shared was the quality of the cuts. My previous vinyl wrap had crooked cuts in certain places, and while most people would never notice, they were glaringly obvious to me. Shawn encouraged me to inspect some of their work, and what I saw was seamless. Flawless. It looked just like paint. At that moment, I knew my car was in the right hands.
While they had my vehicle, I received regular text updates every day or two, often with photos and videos. And they did far more than simply remove the old wrap and install the new film. They noticed that several bolts were missing from a previous repair, reached out to let me know, then went across the street to a body shop, picked up replacements, and installed them.
That level of attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond meant a great deal to me. They didn't have to do that, but it is just one of many small yet meaningful examples of their commitment to quality, customer service, and customer satisfaction.
Before returning my vehicle, they also performed a quality check to ensure the windows and other vehicle components were functioning properly...something the last wrap shop I used absolutely did not do. (In fact, that previous company reinstalled a door panel incorrectly and damaged some wires on my driver's side. It cost nearly $500 to repair that mistake).
Because of all the World Cup activity going on, it took much longer than expected to get a Lyft to the shop and I arrived at the shop about 15 minutes after closing. Shawn was incredibly gracious about it, and he still took the time to thoroughly walk me through everything that had been done and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work.
The transformation was so dramatic that I honestly didn't recognize my own vehicle at first. In fact, I walked right past it. It looked like a brand-new car!
After handing me the keys, Shawn warned me that the vehicle might not start since it hadn't been driven for a while and the battery would likely need a charge. He was right. And instead of leaving me to fend for myself (like my previous wrap shop did), he grabbed a portable jump starter from the back and gave me the quickest jump-start I've ever had in my life. A minute or two later, I was on my way.
Including the cost of removing my old vinyl wrap, this paint protection film cost roughly twice what I paid for my original wrap. But as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for"... And this gorgeous, glittering finish was worth every dime.
