They carry heavy duty equipment of all qualities, so ask. A lot of my trips here are to pick through the deals they run regularly, it helps me use imagination when getting my to do list to done. The can cut glass and keys, and most other things to. I have never in 10 years seen or smelled a mess here. They offer quality knives and ladders too. Sometimes I just visit to see what they got in new like gardening related items including yard stones. I ordered a birdbath online and had it delivered to the store. Very timely and they had it labeled well, I was in and out.

The staff is super nice, and when we said it was our first time visiting they told us all about the history of the building. Most of the furnishings inside are original including the floors, shelving, cash register and an elevator shaft! This place was so cool and is definitely a must visit in downtown Huntsville! I liked their t-shirts, and stoneware/pottery. My sister likes the socks they carry. They also have locally written books in a tightly curated display. A small selection of locally made jewelry items, cutting boards, and other artwork. The staff were friendly and helpful, and, as others noted, there is no public restroom. They are not 100% volunteer staffed anymore, at least one person is on the payroll. The safe in the back is cool to see and they do have several displays of antique items on the floor as well as the area near the ceiling.
