Luckily, I found Cyber Tech Cafe in my search and noticed the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) logo on their main page. Immediately, I knew they had to know Linux and could help. After submitting a request on their contact page, Nathan replied and I explained the need for their help and their patience with my dad. He followed-up with my questions and I sent my dad, computer in hand, over to the shop. Nathan updated me later with the current status and prognosis for the computer. Super nice. The cancelled 29 min before the schedule install. When I called to reschedule or speak to someone, it was as if I was bothering them. Likely a big national group using inexperienced and unreliable local companies that will only work you in around their "real" customers. I recommend sticking with BestBuy or another local company you know and trust.

The person behind the counter when I arrived actually provided me with a set of tools at no charge to try on my own, and told to come back if I had problems. The tools enabled me to do the repair myself. I was so touched by their ethical, helpful customer service and, it makes me determined to go to Peachtree Computers first when I have a related task I need to pay to have done. I trust them.
