Found myself doing some IT work in Rome, GA. Very different environment from Silicon Valley where I live... In Silicon Valley, you can't throw a rock without hitting some form of consumer electronics store and we have a plethora of sources for computer parts. Ended up needing some unanticipated cables and miscellaneous parts in a pinch, called them and even though it was after closing time, they were still there, agreed to wait ~20 minutes for our arrival (nearly an hour after their closing time) and took great care of us. Saved a ~1.5 hour round trip to the nearest big box CE store and prices were significantly lower (one of the cables we needed was 1/2 the price). Seems to be a mom and pop, the woman on the phone struggled a bit with English, which wasn't confidence inspiring before we got there, but everything worked out great, so just be patient with her on the phone if needed. read more

This place is less expensive than any other in town, very fast and professional. They were able to replace my screen when two others were not, and they were done in 15 minutes. GREAT SERVICE!!! I dropped my iphone 5 in 10' of water in a lake and it took at least 10 minutes to find it. I did the "bag of rice" trick for 4 days but my phone was fried and worthless. I took the phone to Micro Plus and in 3 hours he had it fixed and back to new. He also had to replace the battery (mine was swollen and ruined from the water damage). These folks are VERY nice and had wonderful service. I highly recommend them. read more

Smart and friendly service had what I need without having to go out of town for a reasonable price

The owner will not be held responsible if he damages your phone. I went here for a iphone 6 screen replacement and the phone was working fine prior to taking it here. The phone wasn't even dropped. Just something on my desk fell over and barely cracked the screen. I take it here to get repaired and after an hour+ he can't get the screen to come on. He puts my screen back in and says sorry. I noticed he places other components from someone else phone to make it quicker which could have caused the issue. (ear piece, proximity sensor, light sensor) were from another phone. He didn't try and use my hardware. I took my phone to 2 places in Atlanta and they told me the previous person had damaged a connector. We tried to talk to the owner but he was just like "sue my you'll lose in court" This is the worst customer service I've had dealing with a repair. The other 2 shops in Atlanta say if they damage it during a repair they have to make it right. Avoid taking your phone or screen repairs to this shop. He had no sympathy and didn't care if I lost all my data due to his negligence. read more

After checking with another place on a Friday this place had the part in AND was the cheaper option to fix my charge port on my iPhone. My iPhone had stopped being able to charge. The owner replaced my charge port in about 15 minutes and my phone was chargeable again. However, once I got home I realized my speaker was no longer working. The unfortunate part was the store was closed already plus closed through the weekend so I had to use earphones for anything speaker related. However, on Monday I went back and he was able to fix my speaker. It was gracious of him to fix my speaker without a fuss considering there was no guarantee with purchase. I am sure that my speaker was working perfectly before I got my charge port replaced but I appreciated him quickly fixing what was wrong when I brought it to his attention. Good experience overall. However, I do suggest testing your speaker IF the charge port is being replaced. I've seen a lot of tech board discussions and these are somehow related. Would recommend read more
