I am an 87 year old elderly woman that was aleady having anxiety and depression which caused health issues now being sued for a 100 debt from a therapist. I have a time line for taking care of his issue. situations like this don't help as my issue is from age and need someone to help. This therapist was assigned to me and I don't feel she can show what she did to help or is she actually trained and educated to provided me adedquate therapy for a previous and continuing situation that continues today. The past issue It is funded by the public tax payers of this state. This therapy like many that claim to help the elderly knowing they are vulnerable and do not have the skills they once had are taken advantage of by the very agencies who should know better and use their power to make the situation worst on people already in distress needing help. This is legal greed and hypocracy is all about money, and find this therapist and her employer hypocritics. I want to expose this agency for my experience however I had two nice therapist still employed with this agency. I still want to exposed the hypocraicy especially since they failed to provide me with support, and meaningful answers other than I was a "no show" phone appointment they failed to to state the legitimate reasons the therapist decided to not accept my legitimate response. I provided extensive documentation throughout the case, including printed photographic evidence, detailed logs, numerous witness statements, and support connected to the Department of Defense. While the materials were reorganized by counsel, the evidence itself was thorough and well-documented. Despite the amount and quality of information available, very little appeared to change as a result. After later consulting with other attorneys, I was told that more could have been done with the evidence provided. Communication was also an issue. Response times were often delayed unless something was needed from me, in which case immediate responses were expected. I don't question that work was done, but the execution and use of the evidence did not meet expectations given the length of time and level of documentation involved. Overall, I feel let down by the outcome, and maybe it was Just back luck, but all in all there was no fight for my child. And now I'm back to square 1.

Shawn came recommended by our therapist at the time -- that was our first mistake, as you should probably not take recommendations from people that will earn a referral commission. My husband and I are great friends and were on the same page about everything, so we thought our divorce process would be smooth sailing. Shawn managed to make it hard every step of the way. After taking our payment in full, she was rude, insensitive, and unresponsive. She missed deadlines, disappeared for a few months, and then forgot to actually submit the paperwork (then blamed it on the court even though she had no proof it was ever submitted). She didn't even care enough to explain or apologize for the inconvenience to us. After over a year, we have finally finalized the divorce. I strongly recommend you to stay away from Shawn.

Shawn has been so disappointing to work with. Divorce is never fun, and I fully acknowledge how…read morehard it is to be a mediator. But if you're going to offer mediation services, you probably should, you know, do a good job. Shawn did not. Our divorce took 20 months to resolve, and Shawn made the process take AT LEAST 6 months longer than it otherwise would have. Shawn routinely took a week or more to respond to emails, even small ones. Just between the time we came to a verbal agreement on all matters and the write-up of the first draft of the MSA was 8 weeks (7 more than she promised), and only after repeated reminders did Shawn finally send us a draft. The delays required us to go to two additional court status updates just to say, "uh, we're still working on it, Your Honor." The sessions with Shawn often devolved into her saying, "well, you guys will have to figure it out." We ended up doing most of the heavy lifting outside of meetings with Shawn, which defeated the purpose of having a mediator. We stopped scheduling meetings with Shawn since it was clear that she wasn't helping. Her work on the MSA was riddled with typos and mistakes. More importantly - probably because it took her so dang long - her work in written documents often failed to reflect the changes we had decided at our live sessions, which resulted in more delays and more work. She consistently underestimated how much this process would cost. She initially said it would be just 2-3 meetings. At the end of the day, we paid over $7500 for (mostly) fruitless sessions, a mistake-filled MSA, and terrible communication. And after the whole thing was over, Shawn sent us an additional $1000 bill, just for good measure. At every turn, Shawn over-promised and under-delivered. I strongly recommend a different mediator.

If he takes your case he can use the contingency fee arrangement (the lawyer who represents you will get paid by taking a percentage of your award as a fee for services. If you lose, the attorney receives nothing. This situation works well when you have a winning lawsuit). Paul is a very direct man and is great at what he does. If you are looking for someone who sugar coats things this may not be the lawyer for you. While I will not disclose what was actually going on with me I can tell you that we won.
