Other people in the town say exactly the same on poor experience there. If I could print my own proof of postage, i'd never go into another Post Office again! I…read morecame here to post all my Music Magpie parcels and dropped them all over the floor, and hardly anyone laughed at me. Even though it's clearly a local place for local people, and I am not local, because I live in Leeds and even if I lived in Woodhall Spa still, that's six whole miles away and a whole different kettle of fish to Horncastle and I'd definitely not be local then. Anyway, even though it's a local place for local people, everyone was very friendly and chatty and it was a very pleasant experience. The only drawback, which is an overall-whinge-at-Horncastle, is that you can't park anywhere without having to pay. Although it's only about 40p in the market place so it's about a million times better than Leeds.
