It is located next to a beautiful park, very close to shopping centers, and next door to the Via transit center, if you're needing to take the bus. But what really gives it the 5 stars is the management and the maintenance team. Without fail, every time I go to the office for some help with the Amazon boxes, need maintenance, have a question, etc. They are SUPER quick (usually they come the next business day as soon as I submit a request on the app), and they are happy to help. They are very kind and patient with me as well. I had a maintenance request for the top outlets not working in one of the rooms. When maintenance showed up, it turns out it was working the whole time. I didn't realize it was because the switch (that looked like a light switch) led to those outlets. The maintenance guy was very kind, didn't make me feel judged, and showed me how to make it work.

THEY DID A SOLO WALK THROUGH THE DAY BEFORE & MADE THE DECISION THAT IT WAS CLEAN AND READY TO MOVE IN.** *Oven had roaches. *Microwave door was broken *layers of grease in the oven *carpet was extremely dirty AC had MOLD BEHIND FILTER. BAIT & SWITCH so watch out because once you complain they will stop communication with you and not fix items you ask them to fix. Maintenance deletes work orders and NEVER fixes them. Last day there Amanda and maintenance guy making sly comments while we were sitting there. Very childish behavior. My son & I also got respiratory illnesses because of the mold & we never got compensated. Moved in 6 Aug 2022, the apartment was completely disgusting. They showed us a model and it was beautiful and we were told that the other units looked the same except for the color of the cabinets. I called several times and went in on 4 Aug in person because they would not return my call and asked if I could p/u key before 1600hrs because I had a U-haul reservation 2 hrs away. They said they would call me and they did not. The gate was open so we went looking for his apt & the exterior was disgusting. Trash juice was stuck at the entrance.  I immediately called and left a message with the complex and I did not get a call back. 6 Aug 2022, drove 2 hrs to p/u keys & was told that the painters had done a sloppy job and had paint all over the floor. The painters painted the floor and every outlet or anything that was connected to the wall.  The trash juice was still at the entrance. We were disgusted by how dirty the floor & baseboard were. It smelled musty. Everything that had a flat surface was caked in dust. Even the outlets had a thick layer of dust on them. Every edge of all the floors in every room. The Washer had a razor blade in it and hair. The dryer's lint basket was caked up in lint. The kitchen cabinets drawers had water damage . The sink was actively leaking. The microwave & oven were disgusting and covered in grease.  The microwave door was broken where you could push the glass in. The oven had so much grease in it that I don't understand how this passed inspection.  The bottom drawer had dead roaches and what looked like egg droppings. Both showers had black rings around the tub.  The tiles still had soap scum or mold on them and the floor next to the shower showed water damage.  Red stains on the entry bathroom where we didn't know if it was paint or blood.  The master bathroom had a broken cabinet and more water damage plus toe nails. The bathrooms still had human waste on them. Poop and pee were caked on the toilet seat. The window sills were caked with dirt and a dead roach.  Window screens were missing from the master bdrm windows. The carpets were not new.  We were told the apt would not have carpet. You could see the common walking areas. I brought my vacuum but while I was vacuuming it looked I was seeing stuff pop up from the carpet. The carpet was easy to lift and it did not look like they had padding.  The master bedroom closet carpet was bulky like something was underneath it.  I was afraid to lift it up as to what I would find under it. I went to the front office and spoke to Gabby who was the only one there and told her that I was extremely frustrated.  I could not talk because I was so angry and crying over the condition of this apt. I was calm enough to wait for the other customers to leave before I started crying and did not cause a scene which I should have. I am allergic to mold & excessive dust. Later that night after returning home I was having breathing issues. My son woke up the next with headache when he does not get headaches. The quality and cleanliness of this apartment is a tremendous disappointment.  We signed a 21 month lease & we had no choice to not take the apartment as we had already spent over $800 for a rental, movers and gas to move my son into the apt. My son's only concern was to concentrate on his studies. Now he is stressing over the condition of the apt. As a Disabled Veteran this has flared up my anxiety. Yvonne the new manager never Apologized for everything. I never got paid for all the cleaning supplies and cleaning I had to do while my son had to endure living there while we worked to break this lease. Again, at the end Amanda was making fake calls of closing out work orders and snickering to the maintenance guy that was there. We both had to go to the Doctor and receive medical care due to the amount of MOLD that was being the AC unit and we never got compensated for this. The best thing to do is SKIP this place all together. Even other students from TAMUSA were trying to figure out how to get out.

I began staying with my mom after the beginning of Covid back in April of last year. The steady decline in healthcare and effects of Covid kept me there longer than I anticipated. Quarantines and stay at home orders had of course become the "norm" and staying put was what we were all being told to do. I loved living with my mom! We were having a chance to cook together and spend time. With my moms age, I am thankful to still have her around, and was equally grateful to God for giving me the chance to take care of her and spend time as she is getting older. Our time together was cut short due to my meeting an older gentleman living in the community outside of this complex. He went to my moms apartment leasing office and told them I was living with her. We had absolutely no problems with anyone in the community before this time. We would see the neighbors, waive and visit. We would all leave food/clothing, donation items around the mailbox for each other to help out. We all kept to ourselves, as seniors tend to do. I feel as old because I didn't intend on having another romantic relationship after my divorce. I have the utmost respect for my elders, as well as my mom. This man now has my clothing and all of my valuables. I cannot go to my moms. I don't know if I will see her again before she dies bc of her age and due to our fear of this person, she can't even get out to see me. I stay as close as I can so she knows I'm here. He has everything he could possibly want that I own. Can anyone ask him to stop harassing us ? My mom deserves to enjoy her golden years somehow! Even if it's not with her children and grandchildren. Can she live in peace. I've asked my aunt to pray with her. We're all we have!

This apartment complex is budget friendly due to income based but I wouldn't sign up because of the low rent cost. Maintenance was great when we had ac issues but other than that like cleaning request they wouldn't do anything about that they would give you the run around that they are short handed and try to get to the issue but would never do. If you wanted to see something cleaned up, you would have to clean up yourself. Very ran down apartment many times they would be trash on the floors or broken glass by the stairs. Shooting incident with our downstairs neighbor, personal car brake in attempts. We also installed a ring doorbell and a ring security camera for our safety and car concerns. If I could give this apartment 0 stars I would give them 0 stars. Moved out on May and left the apartment in better cleaned condition than when we moved in and still trying to get our deposit back at this moment if I would of know that we would have this much trouble from the beginning I would of just lawyer up and made the process so much faster. Usually, you don't notice until you go inside but since the recent change, you noticed immediately. First, it was my package being stolen. I've lived here for three years and never had a package stolen! I told the leasing office and informed them I didn't know it was coming because it was a gift. After I showed the agents the confirmation picture, both of them said "the apartment number is not visible so tell them they delivered it to the wrong address and put your plant and rug inside your house" I said, "isn't that fraud" they said well we don't have cameras in that area and aren't putting them up anytime soon, so that's how you'll get the money back! What agency tells their tenants to commit FRUAD!!! Next is the parking! I pay for covered parking but since the change, the management told new tenants to park anywhere until they get a tow company so, I've came home to my parking spot taken and have to once again find parking. They didn't give old tenants a heads up or nothing so, when I called I informed I won't be paying for parking until I can actually park in my spot and it's enforced. The agent said they'd call me back and never did. The very next month I look at my lease and I see I'm paying for a spot I haven't been able to park in! Now it is an extra insurance fee. I'm not new to apartments requiring insurance but it was not in my lease! I showed the agent my renewal letter then he pulls up my lease and we go over it together and what doesn't it include?? An insurance REQUIREMENT! He then tells me he's going to print it out and get back to me! That was March 7th today is March 12th! I received NO CALL! NO FOLLOW UP! NOTHING! Since this company took over I've been living in hell! I have neighbors fighting, the police coming here at all times of the early morning, and loud music playing! Don't even get me started on the ant infestation! I work 18+ hours a day! I can't even find comfort here! I promise you, the price may seem worth it but it isn't!

I asked to be relocated to a new unit or reduced rent since I'm now sleeping in my living room and im paying for a one bedroom just for them to deny me and say they couldn't accommodate. Reduced rent would have been easier than relocating to a new unit but even then they denied my request. Do not move here.
