Since then, my back has deteriorated to the point where walking a single block leaves me in severe pain. I have had to quit practising and go on disability through social services. All was fine for Sandra Ross when I had the money to pay up front for my treatments, but now, when I can't afford to, she refuses to bill social services directly, even though I have been pre-approved for treatment. Also, since I am on disability, I am entitled to a new bed, up to $200. Anybody knows that you can't get squat for that, so my social worker said they would approve me for a very good qualify bed, as long as I had a letter from a doctor stating that it would help with my back condition. When asked if she would do this for me, she said absolutely not, she said it was not her "job" to do this. She said she had already "done me a favour" simply by talking on the phone with my social worker!! This woman has no empathy for her patients. All she cares about is money, up front, at your appointment. STAY AWAY!!!

Somehow looking through the Yellow Pages is too...too...well...random. So I turn to the people I know and if they're happy with someone, I'll give him/her a try. Problem for me...none of my local friends or family have been. But Helen, my favorite checkout lady at Sobey's, in a few of our chats over the last couple of years has mentioned Dr Katherine MacAdam and told me she was a miracle worker. And she is! Just a few sessions with this very professional, very bubbly chiropractor and I'm a new woman. Plus she has a couple of amazing massage therapists in her office too...but that's another Yelp story.
