I don't know why, but it is rare to find a doctor who cares as much about her patients' health as Dr. Howard. Whenever I visited her I got the feeling that she wasn't just there to treat me, but to help me live a better life. I trust and respect her completely. Okay, enough with the gushy stuff and onto the practical information. Dr. Howard is a board certified chiropractic internist and licensed acupuncturist who practices holistic medicine. She also practices gynecology. Her husband, Dr. Zaeske, shares the practice with her. Their website has a lot of great information about their philosophies and the types of treatment they use. Since many insurance plans don't cover chiropractic care &/or natural medicine, Dr. Howard is crafty about submitting claims in a way that's most likely to get them covered. If you don't have insurance she is very up front with you about what the services are going to cost. She always keeps you completely informed about what she is doing and why, and she helps you make decisions about what treatment is best for you. When I would see her for my annual gyne checkup, she would also draw blood and run a complete blood panel. The results of the blood panel not only showed standard things like my cholesterol levels, but also indicated if my body was getting the nutrients it needed. Dr. Howard would then meet me for a brief follow-up visit and recommend vitamins & supplements to take or dietary changes to make, based on the results of the blood panel. What I'm saying is, Dr. Howard works to KEEP you healthy and PREVENT ailments down the road, rather than merely eliminating symptoms of current ailments. And THAT is how doctors should be.

Here for a professional sporting event and one of our players pinched a nerve in his back. I called twice and left a message 20-30mins prior to our arrival (2pm Friday) no answer.. -Where it gets weird...As my teammate and I get to the door, the sign says we're open and friendly etc. But the door was locked. We noticed a trifold block on top of the reception desk. which a women was behind. She peaked and saw us standing at the door AND INSTANTLY HIDES BEHIND THE DESK... we knock, no response. We go around to the side and look through the window and she is HIDING UNDER THE DESK. I can't make this up. on all fours like she was in a tornado drill. Who does that? at this point we were over this place anyways but decided to sit there at the window laughing at how unprofessionally childish the situation was. she finally noticed we were looking thru the window and makes eye contact I said "we can see you" and she just yells "we're closed" so we go back to the front door, knock again and she pulls a closed sign from behind the desk that wasn't even visible. we asked if she could just give us a recommendation and she told us to "google it" This Lady was the same lady on the first picture with blonde hair standing with the Dr. in the white long sleeve.
