In waiting room in Dr 'C' as he's called, I saw a Portuguese-speaking grandmother with family, a very thin waif of a woman and a boy so hyperactive he kept playing with all the toys on the floor. They told me Dr C is know for taking time with each of his patients, sometimes going over. I found his wisdom, insight, empathy and social intelligence, up-to-date mastery of psychopharmacology made strategies for my difficult-to-characterize symptoms. I knew he was a national reputation researcher, but his humane understanding meant most. Dr C is also just likable, with his Scot-Irish accent, quirky waiting room of paintings and books and'mascot 'Maltese do who happily sat in my lap. I've been seeing Dr. Cantillon for close to 2 years and he has been the most understanding, easygoing, caring Doctor I have had in my entire life. He has been extremely helpful throughout the pandemic and I highly recommend his services to anyone considering a psychiatrist who has extensive knowledge in all aspects of mental health. He's helped me out when I didn't have money due to lack of work and gave me a bit of extra time to come up with the cost of the visit, which shows he cares more about his patients well being than money. I had the pleasure of arriving at Dr. Cantillon's wellness management facility and he was simply excellent. His communication methods with the patients were exceptionally well thought out and knowledgeable. He clearly tries to understand the patient and listens very intently. Dr. Cantillon is such a great doctor. I was at a time in my life, where I was severely depressed. Dr. Cantillon showed me the light through his intensive psychotherapy and the medication that he gave me. Not only that, but he had an adorable little dog that always sat on my lap with me during sessions. Dr. Cantillon is someone who listens to me not only in person, but also on the phone. My child wouldn't be able to focus in school if it wasn't for him. He helped my kid in so many ways that I can't even begin to describe. The only negative is that our meeting was postponed 5 minutes once.
