Joined after major lumbar fusion surgery. I do full cryo 3 to 4 times a week. Leg/hip... compression is included with the full cryo and i enjoy this as well. This therapy was a big factor in my recovery from a 3 level lumbar fusion. They also provide full body red-light. I have just discovered this therapy. I went for a private event tonight where we got to test out all their equipment. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable of everything they do there. There wasn't a single question they couldn't answer. They can help you beat if you tell them all about what hurts and you wanna soothe. You get to wear comfortable robes, socks, and slipper to get you in the spa mindset right away. The cryo chambers are their main machine of course and it's quite an experience. They're nice enough to talk to to you while you're in there for 3 minutes, to get your mind off the current situation. It really does help with any inflammation you have. Highly recommend it after a tough workout or run. Even better than that they have these leg sleeves that pressure on your muscles for up to 15 minutes. I love every second of this. Last but not least was their cryo facial. This was like meditation for me. Put me in a clear and peaceful headspace and my headache I had faded away. Consumer beware. I took my son to this spa to treat a muscle injury with cryotherapy. We had a good experience with the initial visit which resulted in a targeted cryotherapy treatment. At the end of the visit we added their "Big Chill Week" to continue treatment for the muscle injury. Everything went well for the first four treatments of this seven day treatment package. Then came day five. We walk in and I asked if we could switch to the targeted cryotherapy in lieu of the whole body for this treatment and the individual on staff today said she would get things ready (please keep in mind that the option of switching from whole body cryo to targeted cryo was offered to us from the beginning). Upon completion of the targeted treatment, we were asked how we were going to take care of the treatment for the day. This is where everything went downhill! I said we were doing the targeted in lieu of the whole body cryo and the individual stated that this wasn't an option even though she mentioned nothing when the request was originally made. I explained that this was offered to us when we signed up and without any trust, the individual stated she would have to look it up because it's not allowed (I never would have asked had it not been discussed when purchased!). I then asked how much it would be to just pay for the targeted treatment and was quoted a $25 fee per upper quad muscle for the treatment...for a total of $50. I then explained that we just had the same targeted treatment the previous Friday and were only charged $25 total for both upper quads. In frustration, I stated to just take the service from our "Big Chill Week" package but was then told by the individual that it would wipe out two of the seven whole body treatments. Mind you, those whole body treatments have a retail value of $50/treatment vs $25 for a spot treatment. The numbers don't equate nor does it match what we were previously told when we originally purchased the package. So, I'm perplexed and frustrated. For reference purposes, the individual's name we dealt with is Janet, title being "Spa Manager", as I was told. At the end of the day, I'm not going to spend my money somewhere that lacks the understanding of what I believe customer service is. I wasn't asking for a handout, simply using up a service I had already paid for. Your experience may vary so my only suggestion is to get everything you purchased and any stipulations in writing. I knew the benefits of icing injuries but was unfamiliar with cryo therapy. After the first few treatments, I did feel small improvements in my shoulder (a lingering injury from lifting). Then after my first week, I began to feel a major difference in my shoulder AND energy level. It was amazing. I can tell when I go a few days without cryo I feel like I have a little less energy. It's an absolute necessity for anyone active or involved in recreational sports, or just want to feel better. And the other pain management machines are great as well. I love Chilled Cryospa! I know that it has helped me stay healthy during my training. I normally have IT band and knee issues when I run a lot. As a mom to a football player, I'm always looking for ways to help his recovery. Quicker recovery = happier son = happier family. Our first visit to Chilled Cryospa could NOT have been more awesome. After 1 cryotherapy session said son's pain was reduced, he had greater mobility, and he was "sold". The Normaltec was a great added benefit, as was the massage chair. I have had several sessions here and let me tell you that you will benefit from the cryosauna. I have seen improvements in my recovery from intense training from Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga, and CrossFit. It even helped with my performance when training. I have also had improvements in sleeping! I used to get up 1-2 times during the night and now the last few nights, I have slept all through the night. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Since having my kids, I've been dealing with minor injuries as I return back to training (especially with extra baby weight on my body). I'm currently training for a half marathon and my legs have been killing me with the additional running, however, after one session of Cryospa (along with the NormaTec compression sleeves), my legs feel amazing and I'm looking forward to my next training day! I plan on using the Chilled Cryospa to help keep my legs injury free, and hopefully now that I have a better recovery system in place, maybe someday I will amp up my training and get back into triathlons too.
