I have seen 3 primary care doctors in the last year. One doctor only once. So I keep having to go over my medical history every visit and explain everything over and over. Hard to prescribe new or update medications when they don't know my history. Seriously thinking about going to another health care provider. And talking with other patients who have experienced this also. Many are not happy with the service being provided.

The business was supposed to be open until 5. At 3:50 they were closed. When I called to ask what was going on he was very rude. Needless to say, I will never go back there. I guess I'm just gonna pay the bill again, but I'm definitely certifying it and getting a return receipt of its delivery.

My daughter is in college and came down with Bronchitis, so she went to WellNow in April of 2024 because they are in my network, confirmed by my health insurance. WellNow charged my daughter out-of-network cost of $165 for her visit which should have been in-network and only $15. After repeated phone calls with WellNow billing department they admitted that the visit should have been in-network and only $15 and would reimburse my daughter the $150 she is owed in 30-45 days. After months, they still had not reimbursed my daughter so I spoke with my insurance company who contacted WellNow billing department on my behalf and my insurance called me back to say it has been corrected and that WellNow will reimburse my daughter the $150 within 45 days. As of today, 08/28/2024, not only has WellNow not reimbursed my daughter, but I received a bill in the mail from Doctor Krystyna Koryzma, who treated my daughter, for out-of-network expenses of $334, in addition. How is this even possible??? My daughter goes to an in-network urgent care for serious issues but the doctors that work there are not in-network? My daughter should have been informed prior to treatment. How is it this doctor is not billing through WellNow so it is in-network? If one does not pay their doctor bill after 4 months, I'm sure WellNow would threaten collections. When that person came out and took our temperature the woman at the desk STILL persisted in her clearly personal phone call for 10-15 more minutes! I waited for a half hour altogether and was still not registered. The the temperature-taking person said it would be at least an hour wait. I left and went to Med Express, highest ratings for them, and was in and out in about 20 minutes. Sharon was rude to a phone caller - put that person on hold while she continued with her personal call, and then when she finally did pick up, she told the caller in a snotty voice that this is a "walk-in" and no appointment was needed. The temperature taking person commented "what part of walk-in don't they understand." Worst attitudes ever. I will never go back and I am posting this on Facebook.

I can't say I like them, but that is probably because I am sick if I am here and I am meeting new doctors I don't know. They are very hesitant to prescribe antibiotics, even after having cold or flu like symptoms for 10 days or more. I was told "two weeks" before they would write a prescription. Perhaps that is a federal policy? I don't know. If you are sick and need help fast, come here. Or, better yet, just don't get sick at all.

I went to the Ortho NY CP Urgent Care Walk in after a week of back and leg pain…read more The clinic was down two providers and very busy. The Medical Assistant who checked me in at the clinic called over to Ortho NY to see if a doctor was available. Within 15 minutes, I was escorted to the Ortho NY office on the same floor. I felt fortunate to be able to see a MD without a scheduled appointment. Within a reasonable amount of time, I had X-rays taken and Dr. Polishchuk, an orthopedic MD, met with me. He evaluated the X-rays and asked me questions about my pain. Not only was he knowledgeable, he had excellent interpersonal skills. He was a good listener and communicator. He diagnosed my condition as Lumbar Sciatica. He explained a treatment plan of OTC meds and exercise. He gave me a printout of home exercises as well as a script for Physical Therapy. Office staff 5 stars Medical Assistant 5 stars Xray tech 5 stars plus! Physician 5 stars plus! Waiting rooms and parking were great.

5/5 for PCT's and staff on duty…read more 1/5 for the Provider (Chantal) Upon entry to well now for a (non-driver) DOT Physical Exam I was greeted by friendly staff. They directed me to sign in and take a seat in the waiting room. Drug test went great and PCT's on duty were very professional. It wasn't until I met Chantal the, "new" provider on duty that my experience at WellNow was ruined. As a US Army veteran, I have mental health issues that accumulated in service, As many army veterans do. This prompted the provider to fail my physical examination stating that I need to get documentation from my psychiatrist in order to pass exam. I felt discriminated against as she condescendingly told me, "Well, thank you for your service sir." When expressing the challenge of connecting with a mental health provider on such short notice she says and I quote, "yeah, I know that sounds like a joke". I felt belittled & pushed to the side. I was supposed to start work on May 6th but this now might be pushed back. I felt this to be completely unnecessary for I have been working for 7+ years out of the military without incident. Not to mention your wait times are longer than 2+ hours now because of this new provider you have. I had to get in early and waste my day in order to be seen because I heard the wait times were so bad. I got in 8am and left close to 11. There's many other clinics in the area. I would recommend any other clinic when it comes to DOT physicals or non-DOT physicals.
