I had an exceptional experience at WellNow yesterday, which honestly surprised me based on a past visit to a different location. From start to finish, everything was seamless. Cassie, who took my vitals, symptoms, and health history, was one of the kindest and most caring people I've encountered in a healthcare setting. She truly listened, was gentle, and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Phil was just as wonderful. He was welcoming, patient, and genuinely attentive, and I never felt rushed. I made my appointment online the night before, and the moment I walked in I was taken straight back. I didn't even sit in the waiting room for a minute, which has never happened to me before. I was in and out faster than I expected. The experience really showed how much the people caring for you matter. Cassie and Dr. Phil work incredibly well together and clearly care about helping their patients. And yes, the slushie on the way out was a nice bonus. Made an appointment for a non emergency infected finger ( hit with hammer and had a cut) they took me when I got there. Everyone was friendly, professional and the PA was very informative and knowledgeable! Had to wait about 15 minutes for the x-ray tech to come in from other office , not bad! Nothing was broken just major infection . Very happy with every aspect! read more

Have been to this location several times over the years. Covid tests, strep throat and my husband twice for sutures. It has never taken longer than 1 hr from start to finish. All staff is very courteous and efficient. The location is very clean and well kept. The sutures were done well and removed expertly. This is definitely much better than spending hours in a hospital ER waiting room just to be seen. Will definitely use this service if needed again. read more

Husband went to well now on 6/26/2025. We paid the co-pay. We were told to come back as a follow up to remove a single staple ( no charge for the follow up). Charged us again! Called multiple times to get this resolved, thy acknowledged there was no charge for the staple removal but still giving us the run around on reversing the charge on our credit card. I had the quickest visit to a walk in clinic and was so happy! The registration was easy the girl did most of it then I was taking to the examining room right away nobody ahead of me the nurse practitioner came within a minute asked me why I was there I had an ear infection looked in my ear talked a minute came back with another nurse practitioner to look at my ear again to make sure the medicine she was going to give me would be ok because I was allergic to Sulfa. Then a guy came in to do my vitals which they usually do in the beginning then she came back to tell me about my medicine and I was done 22 minutes from start to finish. Choose a different location if you want a positive experience. One of the 2 receptionists was very rude in an already stressful situation. The doctor was very personable and funny but didn't do much to assist with the issue. More of a statement of what he thinks he found without much of an examination. We had to ask for pain management details and for additional information for healing the issue. Overall we paid a co-pay to be treated poorly. read more

I've always had a great experience with the doctors and nurses, very kind, intelligent, helpful people. However, the receptionists do not know how to do their jobs at ALL!!! I've had multiple issues with my insurance because they bill the wrong company. At this location, Ashley, was so incredibly rude to me, after telling her what my insurance is, she told me "I know" in a pissy voice. Then continued to tell me I wasn't covered! Which I have been covered for a very long time and my policy has not changed! After calling my insurance company and having her talk on the phone with an agent, I told her "thank you for speaking with them" after she realized she was WRONG, and she said nothing to me. The entire time I was kind and understanding (even though this has happened to me at wellnow multiple times), she was so rude and irritated throughout the whole thing. Once she took me into a room, I said "thank you" once more, and in a completely mocking tone in a high pitched voice (like mine is) she said "you're welcome" and it was so rude and disrespectful i almost cried in that room. Went to Orchard park location on 6/4/25 for an eye injury. Poked my eye on tree twig. Person whom treated me didn't even examine my eye...just put some drops and dye in my eye and looked at my eye for like 3 seconds and stated I had scratched my eye and prescribed antibiotic drops. My bottom eye lid was still swollen after a few days and when I pulled my eye lid down, I saw a piece of bark. On 6/7/25 I went to the WEST SENECA location for removal of tree bark. Would NOT recommend Orchard park location -Thanks for costing me two $50 co-pays and not doing your job properly! read more

Terrible experience, doctor put in the wrong medication that cost me $66, realized it was the wrong medication because I've gotten this previously and now I am out $66 plus the payment to see the doctor plus paying for the new prescription. Really unfortunate that people don't understand the level of attention to detail you need in this industry. read more

Made an appointment online for my daughter at the Depew location for sore throat , fever. We went in and were brought to a room by a med ass't, Im assuming as no one wears a name badge or title. Bed appeared dirty and had no paper protector etc. I asked her to clean it with wipes. She asked a few questions and then did 3 swabs without even speaking to a practioner which were done rather incorrectly. Covid, Flu and Strep... waited 10 min or so and another female walks in with N95 and asks us to walk to another room. We follow and she asks my daughter to sit on a stool . She tells me her tests were all neg, however the doctor wants to listen to her lungs prior to an x ray. We have not seen anyone resembling a doctor or NP, PA, RN. I asked where is the doctor and she turns on the screen and a NP pops up..... LOL Virtual visit! They should explain this and they need to ask permission prior to a virtual visit. She then places a stethescope on my daugthers chest and NP listened via headphones. Then she uses an otoscope incorrectly and causes pain to the inner ear and NP says it looks fine. She then states she is going to send the strep out and it will take 2 days as her throat is pretty red and it hurts to swallow. The Virtual Prescriber was nice, however we wanted in person not Virtual and we were not asked about seeing a prescriber virtually. I ask the ass't in the room if there is an actual provider in house. She states,"Yes, but we use this stethescope bc we need to listen deeper and it is better than the doctors stethescope! I have been an RN for over 30 years ,are you kidding me??? That is blatantly not true at all! What a mess our healthcare has become... On top of it all the Strep test was done incorrectly with the wrong swab and needed to be redone prior to leaving. What a joke, I will never ever go back there again. Be aware.. Absolute pathetic scam artists. Called explaining my insurance has high deductible (doesn't cover much) and asked how much for basic visits. Was told $165 (two separate occasions). Go in and get billed for $215. It's okay though. They "greatly apologize and will inform their staff" to be more clear (this charge is without insurance) but...it's still my fault and I have to pay $50 more although had they not lied to me, I wouldn't have gone. Typical medical practice. They screw up and you have to pay for their screw ups. Kept blaming my insurance when again, I already knew about my insurance which is why I ASKED BEFORE GOING IN. Usually I take my children to one of the two pediatric urgent cares in the area but I was strapped for time last night. I wanted my 4 year old to been seen after his big sister came down with strep. I first stopped at Focus and walked right out. Though they had no wait, they didn't have any rapid strep tests. So I drove down the street to give WellNow a try. Their parking lot was packed so I almost just kept going to head to the pediatric urgent care. But I decided it was worth a shot. The receptionist was kind. She took my sons info but gave me a heads up that 9 patients were ahead of him. We waited with a bunch of teenagers and adults but they had a Pac-Man Arcade machine and a Slurpee machine if I got desperate and needed to entertain him if the wait dragged on. In my mind I was giving them 30 minutes before I would head home and try the pediatrician the next day. 20 minutes later our name was called by a very friendly nurse who cheerfully greeted my little boy. The halls and rooms very clean. After being in the room for a few minutes a very child friendly PA named Sawyer came in with an assistant. He discussed my concerns. Then moved on to check out my son. Right away my 4 year old was comfortable with his fun and gentle approach. Even the nurse that came in to swab his throat knew all the tricks to put Parker at ease. They were so kid friendly and in tune with my 4 year olds possible worries that he did not stress out or cry once. This is HUGE-- my son is super sensitive and sick kids are extra emotional. I cannot praise them enough for the kid friendly environment they created with the team that worked last night. They addressed my strep concern and then asked about his cough and helped with that secondary concern. They for sure went above and beyond. **Any parent wondering if there is a kid friendly urgent care in the Lancaster/Depew area-- this is the one. Especially if Sawyer and his team are working. ** (One suggestion would be to allow your TV to switch channels/have Disney or Netflix so parents of young ones could entertain them with out sugar and video games ;) read more

I got a physical done the week of 7/14/22 . my employer called they said I did not come for a physical. I got a full physical exam. wait time was long. i tried to call that no is not in service any more no number to reach them at I am not going to this urgent care any more. My emoyer stated that they input the physical under a wrong code now I got to go on for another physical definitely not here ! These places are a joke. Slushy machine in the waiting room?.... My boyfriend needed stitches removed from his face before we returned to school out of state so we stopped here. The PA working didn't even remove all of the stitches so I had to remove them from his face when we got home. She also tugged at his face while removing them and broke open the area that was in the process of healing. read more

I have gone two times to Well Now and it has been a horrible costly experience. Every time billing messes my bill and I end up paying twice. I even got a collector requesting a payment for something I paid. Both time ai went it didn't resolve nothing and it cost me a lot. read more

The NP who took care of me was extremely nice and helpful however the two employees I dealt with checking in and giving my basic info to once I was in the room seemed unenthused and like they didn't want to be there. I know work is work and not everyone is going to be super friendly but I felt more like a burden to them than a patient.
