Unfortunately, I am leaving this review because of how Jason reacted to this not being the right fit. Firstly, Jason seemed completely disengaged throughout our sessions. It felt like he was just going through the motions, offering generic advice that could have been found in any self-help book. There was a distinct lack of personalization or effort to understand the unique dynamics of our relationship. However, things really went downhill after my partner and I brought our frustrations to Jason. He was unprofessional saying things like "I just want this to be done" and "take it or leave it" when we asked for a refund. He also led many emails saying "I know I said not to do this, but I'm going to anyway" and was overall more interested in defending himself than making sure we got the counseling we needed. Overall, our experience with Jason was a waste of time and money. He did not provide the guidance or expertise we expected from a professional couples therapist. Instead of helping us work through our issues, he added to our stress financially and personally. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere for competent and compassionate couples therapy.

Every time I go to schedule a session, it says my providers shcedule is full when in reality it isn't. I also had an appointment get canceled, I went to reschedule through the email I got, and received the same message. This is extremly fustrighting and interrupting continuation of care. I have emailed support@sondermind.com 10+ times, and every time my message gets ignored, an extremely late response, and the person responding doesn't fully understand the depths of this issue. My provider is absloutly wonderful! As of now, my appointments are being scheduled through my provider's portal.

JT is incredibly kind and well-intentioned, but the therapy felt one-dimensional. Sessions largely focused on validating feelings without providing structure, tools, challenge, or actionable guidance - all of which I repeatedly asked for. Given that this therapy was priced at the higher end of what we've seen, we expected a much deeper level of engagement and clinical depth. I consistently expressed that I did not feel understood, and that concern never felt meaningfully explored. The turning point came when JT continued asking the same questions and implied that I wasn't going deep enough. When I asked him to take a different approach and ask more thoughtful probing questions, he responded by asking me what I thought he should ask instead. That felt backwards. If he is the trained professional, I don't believe it should be my responsibility to determine how we get deeper in session. He also seemed dismissive of modalities like the Gottman Method and Nonviolent Communication, as well as the self-work I was doing independently. Despite repeatedly asking for homework or guidance between sessions, none was provided. We were looking for stronger direction and more skill-based, structured work, which is why we chose to move on. We're very happy with our new therapist, who also practices EFT but brings a broader, more versatile approach rather than relying on a singular method.

I was then charged $225 for an intake assessment. Not only was this not what I was told it would be, I was also met by a therapist that I did not request. To charge me $225 for a mistake on their part is incredibly wrong. More recently, I realized that I was charged another $150 a week later for an unknown reason. I have tried to get in contact with them and requested a phone call many times now. I have been completely ignored and received no call from the owner or upper management that could assist me with this. I will be reporting them to DORA unfortunately. Please beware of this practice trying to steal money from individuals solely trying to seek help. It is a very unethically run business and it is so disheartening to have discovered that this is occurring within a therapist community. I highly recommend seeking help elsewhere. I would not recommend this business for many reasons…read more First, when I called them, they answered the phone in an unprofessional manner, not to mention I had to ask if I called Premier Care Injury Services or not. Additionally, they were super sketchy about their answers to my questions. I asked if they had a website because when I googled them, I could not find it. They said, "oh... we have a website.." and I asked where I could find it. The woman responded by telling me that it wasn't working and was not up at the moment. She then proceeded to ask me why I needed to see their website.. ? I responded in telling them I wanted to see what their staff specialized in within PT. She quickly told me that they were not accepting any patients and that I could refer to their website and that it was on google.. When i reiterated that their name does not come up when I google them, she said "Well it's there". When I pointed out that she had told me one minute ago that it was not up at the moment, she said "bye". Very sketchy and odd. I know that some businesses hire staff that may not be 100% right for the position, but when it comes to something as important as healing injuries and people trying to get their lives back as a result, there is no way that I could trust a business that has someone as incompetent as the receptionist interacting with clients. I've never written a bad review because I think so much more goes in to an experience than just a first impressions or an initial experience, but the medical field handles peoples' futures and well being.. If the person answering the phones can't even do that professionally or answer potential client questions, I don't want to know what the rest of the business would run like. I feel morally obligated to notify everyone of this business because it seemed like the kind of place that cuts corners, doesn't care about their clients, is dishonest, and would possibly do more harm than good. Please correct me if I am wrong, but something did not feel right and I could not sit back while knowing people may go to this sketchy clinic.
