This is how I first went to Dr Loverro. Then I had falls on ice and at work which back issues and went to him and then I felt like skipping when I got done. I could breath better even as when you upper thoracic is adjusted your in the right alignment to walk breath and sit. If I slept wrong on my neck he could adjust it to make it better and he can tell you how to get in a car the right way and sleep the right way and bend and every day movements which people dont always use the best way body mechanics to do chores and work. The right shoes the alignment in soles of shoes affect the posture etc. He has classes on health and accept compensation insurance. Back in the day chiropractic care did not accept insurance but in lew of going under the knife try chiropractic homeopathic medicine first. I like the fact he has sports medicine tens machine for stretched out or injured muscles. Why go to a another dr for that. Dr Loverro also has a few masseuses on staff and can test for allergies and viruses and treats homeopathy ways which my system and body can handle without side effects or worse milady's that happen with the over use of prescription drugs and methods..

I called Dr. Loverros office because my sciatica was so bad. The receptionist who answered the…read morephone sounded intolerant and only replied "seventy five". I said "seventy five what?" She said "all consultations are $75.00". Well I didn't ask her about money or insurance or anything so her off the cuff "seventy five" comment was confusing and tone of voice was rude. But she didn't stop there. She went on to say how Dr. Loverro was booked four months in advance in a tone that made me feel like I was wasting her time. Not only that, but a newer Chairopractor who recently joined the office had a 3-4 week wait. It sounded like she couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. I was stunned by the nastiness and just thanked her. Her voice brightened and told me "good luck to ya". I'm not sure if Dr. Loverro is aware that the front desk receptionist is chasing away business before it comes in, or maybe he's just hoping his current clients will stay with him for years so that he doesn't need new clients. Whatever reason, I would never choose any professional who allows their front desk staff to be so rude.

Catherine dropped sideways and spent her last 4 weeks of gestation facing mom's right side. Her…read morebirth was natural, but she was born sideways and eyebrow first. She had severe torticollis and needed a cranial band for about 6 months after she was born. She was in physical therapy and she was seeing a chiropractor 2-3 times a week for the first year of her life. We relocated and she continued her chiropractic care ~2 times per month. She hated going and was miserable, so we didn't push her. When she was about 11 months old, she was babbling and even said her first phrase ("Hi Eddie" - Eddie is our cat). When she was about a year old, we moved to California and she entered a daycare that was primarily Spanish speaking. For this reason, when she suddenly stopped talking and babbling as much, we assumed it was because she was learning a new language. After a few months, and upon moving to New York, it became clear that she was somewhat delayed in speech. Her pediatrician referred her to speech therapy and physical therapy - she qualified for both. Catherine went to see Dr. Pierre, Dr. Mark, and Cate and I was so impressed with how patient and nurturing they all were with her. They wanted to make sure she was comfortable and so they encouraged her to play and interacted with her for quite some time (ask Cate for a puppet show, it's not to be missed!) It was decided that it would be best to come back a second time for her actual adjustment so we wouldn't traumatize her. The good doctors know how to take care of children because we came back, and she laid down and let Mark adjust her (amidst some protest but not much). She immediately got up and started walking around - her legs were suddenly less splayed. She was also babbling. She babbled the whole car ride home. She even woke up at 3am and was talking to herself happily all night. A few weeks later she started saying 'shoe' and was happily dancing and learning dances to songs like head, shoulders, knees, and toes. My always happy daughter, turned quiet toddler, went back to the kid I knew before. The ABC method gave me my daughter back. Her tilt is gone, her legs are not as splayed, her in-turned foot is getting better, and her sounds and verbiage are increasing every day. She is one of the happiest kids I know and while part of that is personality, most of it is due to her lack of discomfort - thanks to Dr. Mark.
