And then they had no staff so they would client by client one at a time and so you would have to wait behind locked doors until the previous person got their banking done. Located downtown, this bank caters to business's and large transactions so things can move slow. Today I saw three tellers but only two working. Not bad these days with service. Tellers have come and gone past the years so it's hard having any long term relationships. Its very efficient for me but it's not the greatest branch. Oh also the ATM always seems down.

I have always been treated with kindness at Zion's Bank and customer service has always tracked down errors or companies that have made 3 or 4 holds against my debit card after they have received the funds for the point of sale service. I think people can trust whom they choose. Maybe that is why I still trust them to correct any errors in the future and watch myself to keep from making overdrafts. Some how a bank must make enough money from going broke themselves. I pay other companies for their services. Why not pay my bank for keeping my money and reputation safe?

She showed my kids the inside of the vault and had end endless supply of suckers. She was incredibly informative and went through all 26 pages of my loan for me. I'm honestly willing to drive from Murray to this location to do my banking! The tellers were just as nice! Bringing my kids with me places is such a hassle, but they treated me so kindly and didn't make me feel like my kids were terrors. (They are).

Had a car loan with them a few years back and had a very positive experience! I like their new location in Cottonwood Heights. Beautiful building and the tellers were so helpful and friendly! I needed money wired from my account to complete a purchase of a condominium. I thought it would take a few days to wire the money. But to my surprise, it was received the next day and the title company was able to complete the transaction and close the loan that day! They completely understood my situation and did everything they could to help me with it! They bent over backwards - knowing that I could save some money if I closed early and they made it happen! At the moment it's drive through only but I appreciate the safety measures they take. When I visit this location the employees always remember me and make me feel so welcomed. The lobby is always clean and before they closed the lobby they always had sanitizer for the customers. It shows them genuinely care about the customers and the community. I just recently closed on a home in the Sugarhouse area. I've used Bank of Utah since I was a…read moreteenager (many years ago). I never thought I'd buy a home, but when I approached several lenders I saw that the interest rates were low and I could actually afford a small home. That being said, NO lenders could beat Bank of Utah. I tried credit unions and other companies but Bank of Utah still came on top. The best part was that were able to offer a conventional mortgage while others only offered FHA. Mike Medsker was my agent and though he works in Ogden he came over to meet me in a Salt Lake branch. Not even the Salt Lake offices with other lenders were willing to make the effort to see me. All my calls were returned, and emails were responded within a day, (usually hours). At closing I was worried I'd be hit with a surprise fee but it actually cost roughly $400 less than what I was quoted. Could not be happier and will continue to bank with Bank of Utah.
