Dear god I would give them negative stars if possible. Never have seen more than 1 or 2 costumers in there but cannot answer any type of phone ever . Today After the ONLY time they have ever answered I said 4 words got cut off and they sent me to wrong department when we said we didn't need to be??? Just wanted us off the phone and when we asked to go back they wouldn't answer. Continued trying calling throughout the day which by no surprise didn't get an answer either. My daughter has an account at Wells Fargo. She received a check for over 6000 dollars from an law firm. She took it to Wells Fargo to deposit most of it but get some cash...Jalia told her she could get 2500 out and had her sign pimps staying so. A woman from India came out whispered in Jalia s ear and then Jalia became offensive and told my daughter she wouldn't get anything.. My daughter is autistic.. She didn't understand so her fiance attempted to talk to the ladies and they refused to talk to him. Then the bank manager comes out and says I'll explain it to her so she can understand.. Then loudly says we...are...not...giving..you...anything... Totally belittled my daughter who then has a panic attack. She is autistic not stupid... How dare them make fun of her... How dare them! The worst banking experience I have ever suffered through in my entire life. It seems that not one "banker" at this institution can so much as blow their nose without getting on the phone to call "team support." To accomplish what, at other local banks, were simple tasks completed in less than fifteen minutes in only one trip, I had to make four to five trips to this Wells Fargo branch to accomplish the same tasks! I had to wrangle with issues like misspelling of customer names on official documentation, and the so-called "banker" whose spelling errors were egregious actually argued with the client(me and my mother) over this, insisting nothing was misspelled on the official documentation! Having done a little shopping around for interest rates on the national market, I think the interest rates offered by Wells Fargo are appalling, and that's an understatement. There's plenty more I can add later about the dreadful experience I had with this branch. They're slow as Christmas, they ran into computer "glitches" every time I dealt with them, and when I was able to FINALLY get a few tasks completed with their "bankers," I told a friend about my experiences with Wells Fargo's local branch. She said, "Do they act like they think they own the depositor's money? My response was, "Yes." I describe my experiences as denigrating and humiliating. I had an appointment with one "banker," and when I arrived at the agreed upon date and time, I was told that he was on vacation! Also, when one of his colleagues searched to see if he had completed the paperwork that he said he would, she could find none of it. So, I got to start all over from square one with another "banker." Basically, I spent literally half a day and then some to complete the tasks that I wanted to. Oh, that is only including one day's time. That does not include the multiple times that I made trips to this branch in futile attempts to accomplish necessary tasks. Of note, the "system" that this branch uses seems to impede and hinder the institution's ability to comply with some aspects of state law. I didn't appreciate this in the least. Additionally, one "banker" asked me some inappropriate and possibly illegal questions which was completely out of line. The level of ignorance and, in my opinion, arrogance on the part of not a few of this Wells Fargo branch's employees is absolutely astounding! I will describe the sum total of my banking experience with this branch as insulting. I've NEVER had such a poor banking experience in my life. read more

If you're a business owner... you need to bank where your business is both valued and respected. Wells Fargo is not a local bank... it has a branch on every corner like McDonalds, but the branches are not where the banking is handled. Instead all decisions head to the call center and those reps care less about their local customers than the already careless local management. The only institution I've ever seen that will disclose every service they offer and often have a fee for is merely a "courtesy" and they accept no liability or responsibility for the handling of those services, like stop payments being completely ignored, deposit holds being repeatedly placed on the accounts with no warning, legitimate debit card disputes going unresolved, failed mobile deposits, the 2 year experience with this bank list goes on and on. A bank that cannot guarantee they actually deliver bank services and handle bank transactions is not where a business owner belongs... none of us would be in business if we treated our clients with such disrespect or failed to deliver services appropriately. Jennifer Ray at the regional level is about as customer centric as a water moccasin is to an unsuspecting fish... she is well supported by the institution she works for and staffed with equally as obnoxious branch employees. Wells Fargo isn't a bank... they can't handle checks... check deposits... and especially any issues that arise from time to time in your account. They can charge you excessive fees constantly, however, that they seem to have down to a science! As an educated consumer... I knew much better than to bank with an institution that has a long history of unethical operations that landed them the largest federal fine in history on their deposit account practices and should have landed them in prison after all of the money laundering regulation violations. I'm well aware that Wells Fargo knows it's untouchable as it's just too big to fail and now they bought out SunTrust to destroy that institution as well. We personally experienced their practices of opening unnecessary accounts when the personal banker tried to swindle my American spouse with a Spanish last name into signing documents before my arrival the day we opened the accounts. And now we have first hand knowledge this local branch still opens fake accounts using falsified social security numbers they create on the fly. Therefore, as an educated consumer and business owner, I shouldn't even be surprised by all of the horrible interactions with this institution both locally and nationally, I feel I was asking for it by moving our accounts to them. I did so out of convenience for my business because of their accessibility with all of these locations. But I've more than paid the price for that convenience. I accept full responsibility for exposing my business to such damages, but we have concluded that exposure today. We transferred all of our accounts, lines of credit, payment processing, and other services to Century Bank in Cartersville. It was a wonderfully refreshing feeling to know we will never have to deal with a call center again, that our business is valued, our time is respected, that the bankers don't hide behind the shield of the institution, that they will go above and beyond when called to do so as they did today... and that they are locally owned and very financially stable. Hopefully this post will help at least one small business owner looking for a good banking partner in Bartow County. Save yourself the trouble and preserve your sanity. Run your business knowing you have a bank that recognizes what it means to be in the customer service business! read more
