I decided to try them out. I spoke to Martin for my business insurance and Kathy for my home insurance. I spoke to a gentleman and set up an appointment for the following week on my day off from work. I left my cell phone number for contact. The morning of the appointment, I arrived at the office 10 mins early, because I had left the house early due to rain. After a few minutes I went into the office and found a disheveled, untidy workspace right out of the 60s, but not in a good way. I told the only gentleman there that I had an appointment with Mr. XX at 9xx. He said he wasn't in yet, could I wait a few minutes? After 15 minutes, at my request, he called the man I had the appointment with and told me he was "running late" this morning and asked if I could keep waiting. I sat there a few more minutes and the man left the area and didn't come back, perhaps embarrassed at the turn of events. I left, and took my business elsewhere. Not a good experience for someone new to the community. What could they have done better? How about calling the person who has an appointment and offering to reschedule with them, or at least let them know you're sorry, you forgot the appointment. His time was no more valuable than mine and I wasted my time off from work. Very unprofessional behavior from someone whose last name is the same as the name on the building!

Melissa was the insurance agent that helped me out and she was as nice, personable and informed as I could have hoped for. Some "bizarre" circumstances surround my insurance (no, I am not wanted in 8 states) but things that were enough to make it a little more complicated than they should have been. Melissa was awesome. Explained everything in great detail. Presented various options that were available to me that I was not aware and made the whole process wicked easy!!! I have a safety deposit box with them and they helped me to put the items in the box since I am handicapped. I also have a checking and a savings account with them.
