    All reps and managers have always been nice at this branch. Joanna Cortes-Ake is especially good at her job.

Just for context I've been a member of his credit union for a very long time and I've had minimal challenges with the credit union as a whole. But this branch? This branch which I thought would be such a welcome addition to having one in New Jersey as it was the first location to be placed in New Jersey, has been an absolute dumpster fire since it got here. To be honest when they decided to open the Cherry Hill location I was so grateful and honestly it has yet to disappoint. Shout out to Cherry Hill! Now there are a few reasons why the Bellmawr office is really not great. If you're someone that works, the hours aren't very work friendly. So if you're getting off work at 5:30 by the time you get back home the building is closed, which I get a business as a business. However unlike the Cherry Hill location and some of the Philadelphia locations this location does not have an ATM outside of the building which means those valuable live teller ATM machines that American Heritage has is not accessible to you at all. Now the reason I made this yelp is because of the interactions I had with the actual teller in the building. Mary Ann did not want to be bothered and that was clear. I get it here I am on a Saturday bringing you business supposed to be a chill day I want to be as minimally bothersome as possible I just wanna deposit my check ask you how much I have in there and that's it and I would've gone to the ATM but the live tellers at the ATM were not available. I operate off of vibes and I could tell that whatever it was about me Mary Ann was not feeling and could not hold how she felt about it. I left there with the feeling that I probably would never go back there unless I had no car and couldn't go to Cherry Hill or cross the bridge and get to the PA location. I don't think that customers should be made to feel that way but her aura was very much get the fuck out of here. She said all the right things have a nice day thank you for being a loyal member she said all the right stuff but her vibe could not be mistaken.

I had been waiting for 15 minutes already and there was 1 person before me. She said come back at 1:00 same day. I did. Find out from a ? Manager they don't make appointments! Tried paying cash to pay off CC and close out my account. The female teller couldn't give me 1. Coin change and couldn't close out my account. I was there for 30 minutes and I still have to go back. Plus, there is no privacy! Everyone in the lobby can hear your business. Hire competent staff that have common sense!

    This isn't just for the bank because you actually can't call into the bank. However, this is for…read moretheir customer service. The only people that you can contact on the phone. They get you in acting like you're going to get a low interest rate on your car loans, they tell you interest rates from like 3.5% of 17% however they can't even tell you what criteria needs to be for what bracket of interest rates. I've never taken out a loan where they couldn't tell me what criteria you to meet to see if you even wanna do business with them. Technically you could have perfect credit and you can meet all the criteria and still get 17 percent interest rate if that's what they want to give you. It is a scam. Stay away from them. They lure you in on false pretense and then can't answer any questions which as a financial Institute they should be able to answer all questions. A car salesman could answer more questions about finance than their own financial institution can answer. They lost my business on that. Could've made a lot of money off my loan, I've been with the banks and their credit cards for over 15 years, I have a personal relationship with finance as well. So this leads me to believe that they have under trained staff. Ignorance is no excuse. For anyone who's reading this, in case you are unaware, as many people are, when they run your credit if you decide to not take out a loan with them, it will drop your credit by 20+ points. If you don't take the loan, it looks like you've got denied. Therefore them not being able to answer your questions properly could result in you dropping into a credit score bracket that you won't be able to get lower interest rates because they suckered you in. If you want to Bank with them, they aren't so bad they have benefits other banks don't have. But it comes the cost because there's only one location in the entire state of New Jersey.

You are always greeted by a friendly rep at the door to ensure you're heading to the right place or getting an appointment if you aren't sure. From mortgages to car loans or other banking needs, the advisors are always incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They understand your needs, provide advice or feedback, show you the numbers and potential alternatives, and then set you up for an easy checkout experience. I could not more highly recommend NFCU and this Cherry Hill branch!
