What a nice group of people! Very friendly and most helpful. They were not stodgy loved to laugh. Really enjoyed banking there!

It was intended to be A quick and easy process making the credit decision for the bank about as easy as it gets. I have been a Truist customer for 30 years and my daughter has been one for 15 years Neither our money nor our loyalty mattered. Granted we have great credit so that factor was not an issue. My daughter could not borrow her own money. She was also was charged a $10 fee for each official check she needed to take her funds to a Credit Union to secure the loan she needed and the difference to pay the car dealer. I have to say that the quality of banking at Truist has really declined. I would not recommend this bank period. Very disappointed and exasperated. Find a bank that wants to help their customers. This organization has lost their way.

This review is not about any one person; it is about the system, about this corporation as a whole. This is about my experience and the failures of this institution. I opened an account. They flagged it for fraud. They held my hard-earned monies without any timely notification. They did not call me. They sent a letter via regular mail. Imagine my surprise when I go to my account and see that it was blocked prior to me receiving the written notification. I call and wait a lengthy amount of time to get anyone to help me. I am finally notified that it is on hold for fraud. No reasons are given. I am only told to wait the required amount of time for them to investigate and call after 7 days. At no point, even after the 7 days, did anyone call me to give me any reasons. They gave me no updates or communication. I had to call. I had to escalate the situation, no real help was offered. Any help or progress I made was because I called every day, because I did my due diligence to advocate for myself. To cut to the end...they find there was no fraud, because I provided documentation proving so. Did they apologize for the mistake? No. They say they will return my funds to me via mailing me a check. Take into account that it has now been 2 weeks. I fight to get them to release the funds for withdrawal at the branch. I show up at the branch and there is no money. They mailed the check anyway, rgardless of all the work I put in to get them to authorize it and they sent it via regular mail. There is no authority figure here that can step in on your behalf to be your advocate. You have long waits on the phone when waiting for a supervisor at the call center. No one talks to each other, they simply read notes. Good luck getting them to write any appropriate notes. What does it matter even if there are notes? They obviously don't read them. They have no direct lines. You won't talk to the same person twice. They talk to each other via chats and have to wait lengthy amount of time to get a response. It's all fine and good when you go in daily to make easy transactions. The true test of a bank comes when a customer encounters an issue. Can they resolve it easily? Do they step in to help? Do they go above and beyond? Do they communicate with the client? On all points, they have shown an inability to satisfy. This system is a useless infrastructure that should not be in business. I do not recommend...will not recommend this bank. I suggest you go elsewhere. If you decide to stay, good luck!

NEW EMPLOYEES BEWARE !!!…read more *I am a former employee and before the new branch manager Felicia Williams started everything was great. Everyone on the team got along, everyone especially on the teller line helped each other.. we were a team until she started. *As soon as Felicia started the branch went downhill. She began to target certain employees, wrote up multiple employees, lied to employees telling them something was in the policy when it wasn't which caused them to get fired, made snarky comments in team meetings towards employees. In everyone's eyes Felicia Williams and Christi Russell wanted certain employees out because they got along with the previous branch manager. *Employees went to HR even to the CEO with documentation stating the things they have seen her do to former employees. With dates, times and a detail description of how she treated former employees. A few days after going to HR and the VP telling the employee to extend an olive branch even though she was the one being targeted, she was fired. After she was fired she began targeting everyone else. Members have spoken to former employees telling them the branch has went downhill and everyone there now is rude, no customer service skills. They wish the old team was back. My experience here in my last days were awful and I can attest that the former employees feel the same way. This company does not care about you. HR and the CEO do not care about you. You know it's bad when members see you in public and complain and tell they want you to come back.
