Today was my second appointment with Dr Hall to receive an implant crown. The first appointment…read morewas for the impression. Both appointments went very smoothly with no issues. His assistant is super friendly and very nice. The crown fit perfectly. The lab they used did a great job creating the new tooth. There were no tedious bite adjustments like I have experienced in the past with other dentists. Dr Hall screwed it in and the bite was perfect. This second appointment only lasted 15 minutes. I had been previously informed on two separate occasions of the cost involved. The first time when it was decided I would be eligible to have an implant inserted, and before that tooth was extracted at Bloomington Oral Surgery. Then again when I came in to readjustment my appointment. So there were no surprises at check out time when the payment was expected. The staff kept me fully informed and I was prepared to pay for the whole thing since my insurance, Medicare Advantage Plan, would not be covering the implant. I am 100 percent satisfied with the implant and Dr Hall's work on my teeth. He also gave me advice on long term care for all my teeth during the first appointment that I appreciated. I have been going to dentists all my life as I imagine most of us have except when we sacrifice our…read morepersonal visits to send our kids or have to pay for their braces. I have been to some I never want to go back to like the one I had to have another dentist correct the work that they did. I have had another dentist tell me I needed work and a specialist when Dr Deloria said that he did not see anything to be concerned about. In my long experience with a wide variety of dentists in multiple states, Dr Deloria is one of the good dentists. He is not located in some fancy new building with too much high tech equipment. It looks adequately remodeled, clean and modern. The equipment is up to date but not exorbitant which I believe keeps his costs down. As such, our costs are not too high as I have seen with some in the past. I love the cleaning technicians here. They have not pinched my gums prying around and do good work quickly. They explain the procedures professionally, are friendly, and make you feel comfortable. I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned twice a year.
