I called a couple of local upholstery businesses and both companies were so unenthusiastic about helping me. That is until I called Kodey Wells. His enthusiasm won me over immediately. I took my GMC pickup in to Kodey to have some padding added to the front seats. Both front seats were hard and uncomfortable. I have a tailbone problem and I found the only way I could drive comfortably was sitting on a foam cushion. Kodey said he could make the seats much more comfortable and shore up the sides of the seats as well. Boy, did he and his staff do a job on the seats!! We needed sea doo wave runner seats recovered, it was time! Considered many options! There are pre-made covers that are stiched to deal with contours. (probably made outside the USA). Kodey's team at Wells Upholstery covered our seats with top-notch marine 4-way stretch material. They look fantastic! The benefits of doing it this way are: 1. no stitching means no punched holes on a watercraft seat! 2. looks like the original (which are no longer made AND cost a lot more, IF you can find the 2 matching parts, in good condition... good luck! 3. I own a Subaru Legacy 3.6R. I developed a bad spot in my driver's side seat. A rip and peeling on one section. Kodey and his team repaired it for me and it looks fantastic. I am very pleased. I went to Well's Upholstery to get work done to my drivers seat of my 2016 Ford f250. I went on a Monday afternoon and they were able to get me in the next day for repairs to the cover on the bottom of my drivers seat. The seat in our pickup truck was hard and uncomfortable. The people at Wells Upholstery checked it out and said they could fix it by trimming down the existing foam and adding a layer of a special new foam that provides good cushioning but takes up the same amount of space. The seats in our 2015 F150 were not very comfortable. After a couple of hours we could barely stand to be in the truck. We took the truck to Wells who shaved down the padding and inserted a new type of padding. It worked great! Riding all day is no longer a torture. After 220,000 miles on my 2002 Tundra the driver's seat was getting soft on the left side of the bottom cushion. Now the seat is like new again with great support.
