Parking - There's a ton of parking and it's free. The lot is all around the building. Before you even enter the building, you have your own door code (I guess each patient has one). I like this method. I wouldn't feel comfortable if someone random decided to come by. I think 2 patients share a room. I suppose it depends on how the patient is in regards to health. A simple curtain divides them. Every holiday that comes by, the patients get special lunches/dinners. But overall, my Gramps said he was fairly happy with the normal meals. He's actually doing a lot of better since he's been moved here. Schedule is very strict and nurses help him and coach him to work hard at getting better!

Everyone was very loving with my mother-in-law and it was obvious they genuinely cared for her. One care giver even came in on her day off to help my mother-in-law celebrate her birthday with a big cake. No place is perfect, but I can honestly say we felt blessed that we chose Arbor Terrace to help us care for my mother-in-law. Good people make such a difference!

My experience with this facility and with this organization was outstanding...far better than I expected from any progressive living situation for my mom. I found the physical environment, the administration, and (most importantly!) the staff to be of the highest caliber. Staff clearly were treated very well by the management group, as there was very little staff turnover during my mom's tenure there. Candidly, my mom had the assets to allow her to live anywhere, but I never found another facility in the greater Atlanta area that so thoroughly and consistently delivered what their residents needed, even during Covid. PLEASE read the many five-star reviews included in "other reviews that are not recommended" below. Why are these excluded from the overall rating?

You also have to work in the dining room, pull, wash, dry,fold and out back laundry, buss tables, laundry everyday except weekends, give showers everyday, and sometimes the next shift would be late with no notice and you have to keep smiling through it all. The attitudes of some people here are ridiculous. Residents are sweet but the managemt overrules the good things. You also make $10 an hour and even after you take the CMA class for what they tell you is free, you have to pay $300 if you leave before a year is up. You do way too much for the pay, 5 different job titles for one pay.

The med techs control medication and have several times refused her the break through medication when requested. The Director of nursing employed there has been rude on several occasions. The medical alert the residents where and ring when they need help often go unanswered. They were recently bought by Pruitt. In my opinion the care for mom has gone downhill. I would consider moving her but at 103 it would be too much for her.
