This facility is a high priced jail cell. I strongly recommend you don't contact this place as my sister in law lived there 6 years. She passed two weeks ago and my wife played bingo twice a week and made many friends. When she attempted to enter she was told she is not allowed in the facility. The woman at the front desk told my wife that she was trespassing and if she didn't leave she would have her arrested. read more

My mother is in her 90s and her apartment heating system is broken and has been at 62 degrees for 3 weeks. We've asked for help multiple times and all they've done is bring her a space heater. She's alone and wheelchair bound so moving the heavy space heater around wherever she goes is ridiculous. She also is given a visit by housekeeping once a month. She's been there for two years and the rent has gone up $700 a month in that short time. Where is the money going? read more

6 month update---------- Still very happy with the decision we made, to have my parents move in to Celebration Village. I truly haven't even heard of them having a bad experience or even say that someone was rude. Which in my opinion, is saying a lot, considering they are there 24/7. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's unsure. read more

This place is absolutely wonderful! From the staff to the food service it is outstanding. My mother moved here 4 years ago and has shown marked improvement since she has been here. She actively participates in a lot of activities offered - art class, exercise class, beading, Bible study and more. They very often have live entertainment and celebrations for the residents. Awesome place I love the care and everything but I came to visit my mom here and it was such terrible service our waitress was named Kareli and I hope she doesn't treat any of you the way she treated me and my mom.It was not our fault if she was having a bad day she shouldn't treat people that way it was honestly really disappointing because my mother really loves this place. read more

Such a disappointing experience. Our trust has been broken. The facility is beautiful! If you have a loved one who needs individual care in Assisted Living, be cautious. During the 9 months my daddy was there, we experienced a general lack of effective and accurate communication. Leadership personnel frequently blamed subordinate personnel, the family, or third-party providers when concerns were expressed. Following a surgical procedure, the personnel failed to ensure Daddy's surgical bandage was changed for 27 days. Stating that they do not "do" wound care, they blamed Home Health Care. Daddy developed a serious infection, was hospitalized, and moved to skilled nursing due to a significant decline in health. During his medical stay away from the property, I discovered unsanitary and unacceptable conditions when I entered his apartment to pack his belongings: human waste on the floor, on un-laundered clothes, and on a chair; expired food in the refrigerator; a used bandage on the carpet; and hospital discharge papers from June under a stack of papers on his table, and more. read more

REMOTE FAMILY MEMBERS DENIED ACCESS TO MOTHER - I have not spoken with my mother since she has been put in the memory care facility at Celebration Village in Acworth. This was almost 3 months ago. I live in Salt Lake City and when I call, over and over again, the staff at Celebration Village pretend to try and connect me to my Mother. I know this because one time I heard one of the nurses say to Mrs. Kay the front desk person there, "They don't want me talking to her." Who doesn't want my mother talking to me? My brother says she is desperate to leave and so he doesn't visit her, despite living near the facility, because my Mother says he is the "only one who can get her out of this place." My brother also explained they don't give her access to a phone because she would call her lawyer. He said if I want to do something about this or find out how she is doing I should hop on a plane and find out. I think I have received several phone calls from celebration from an "Unknown Number" but the phone calls are silent and are not connecting. Are they not allowing my Mother to call me despite her knowing my phone number and trying to reach out? My Mother doesn't have the agency to leave without a direct relative going there and escorting her out, evidently. I simply want to have access to video chat with my Mother. I would like to know how she is doing and my 10 year old daughter misses her Grandmother. The last time we FaceTimed was on Mother's Day and my mother completely recognized my 10 year old daughter and me without prompting or reminding. read more

Celebration Village is a wonderful senior living community. I have worked at Celebration Village for 2 1/2 years and it is like a family! Our primary goal is to always put the resident first! We work hard at Celebration Village, but the staff that has good work ethics and hospitality skills can definitely move forward! read more
