I usually only leave a review if someone really makes an impression. I had to make a trip to the deli. There was a woman working behind the counter by herself. I made sure I asked her name. She said Marylynn. It was very crowded and she was handling it so well. Pleasant to every customer, organized and knowledgeable. I felt really bad for her. I couldn't have done it. She really needs to be recognized by Whole Foods as a stand out employee. One person in the deli on a Friday night? Do better Whole Foods management! She was amazing and very nice, thank goodness you had her, because anyone else would have crumbled under the pressure!!

A tiny 365 bran package of chicken a little less than a pound was $14. That's insane. The overwhelming smell of all the open soaps and crap right next to the meat market no less was disgusting and seemingly unsanitary. I can't for the life of me understand why they think mid day on a Saturday is the BEST time to stock the shelves with their giant pallet trucks and carts. The store was absolutely packed. The workers seemed annoyed that people needed to obviously get around them and were taking products they were trying to put on shelves. Like get the f out of the way! Do that crap at night. And the amount of workers pushing massive carts doing online shopper orders was ridiculous. They not only don't pay attention because they're looking down at whatever device they have telling them what to get, but they are rude and push through anyone else. Also, the parking lot is ATROCIOUS and there's on cart return. I'll never go back to this store. Ever.

I love this Whole Foods. It's never crowded or busy. And…read moreit's a very accommodating shop. For example, this week I went to pick up a holiday pre-ordered Thanksgiving catering meal. I arrived one hour early, but they still allowed for me to pick up my meal. My one gripe about this place was their hot food bar. I didn't feel that the food was that great, but it was also because we went to eat close to closing. This had no impact on my review because I'm sure as the day got later the food quality was different. And I have no doubt that if I ate earlier, the food would have been great!. There's an awesome alcohol and wine selection as well even though I'm not much of a drinker. It's very conveniently located on route 35 and very close to Red Bank. I live in Freehold but I still come to this Whole Foods even though there's one in the Marlboro area.

Searching for diesel fuel has been interesting…read more I used to use Hess Express quite a lot because they were consistent between locations. The other day, I saw diesel at another location and decided to stop at this one when I found it. Contrary to what I've found at other stations, the green handle was not the diesel, but gasoline. The diesel pump was orange, which stands out since Hess is green-themed. The attendant came to the car, and I handed him the card and he swiped, started the pump, and returned my card to me. He apparently had every pump under his control, but it wasn't too long of a wait. Besides that, he was friendly. Inside, the rest room wasn't bad, and they had 2 for specials on some items.

That was all until I realized last night that I had sucked my tank nearly dry, with the idiot light brightly warning me of my imminent doom. I honestly wasn't a huge fan of this station in previous years - it was tiny, dirty, had a really small store, and an older lady who must have smoked 5 packs a day was one of the rudest people I'd had to deal with at a gas station. Remembering that they recently went through a HUGE renovation, I limped over with what must have been a cup of diesel in my tank. Wow. The renovations done here were great! Brightly lit at night, clean, tons of pumps, a decent (and clean) store, and most importantly friendly staff. It doesn't hurt that the fuel prices were relatively low either. I feel weird reviewing a gas station, but frankly this is one of the better ones in the area. In fact, with how much I loathe the Hess on Rt 70, I'll probably just go here in the mornings if I need gas - despite it being out of the way by a mile or so.

The price competes well with the market, I know of a particular wine brand I want to try here. The cashier was fast and friendly. Everybody at the stands was friendly and patient.
