They are telling me that they are refunding me less than half of what I paid even though everything other then the number was incorrect. It was never approved before being printed. What they printed on the placemat was false advertising. So now I have to explain to customers why it is incorrect.

We had agreed upon a fee (IN WRITING) prior to the services being performed. Our accountant, Scott, made several errors to the return, which luckily I caught prior to filing. Once the return was finally error-free, we filed and about a month later, we received an invoice for over THREE TIMES the agreed upon price!! Apparently we are being charged for the extra time it took for our accountant to fix HIS MISTAKES!! We are currently disputing the excess charges with the firm but they are threatening to send us to collections over this matter. Please don't get into this same mess that we are in with them - it has been months of going back and forth with them trying to resolve this issue fairly for the amount we agreed to pay in the first place.
