Oh Pizza Hut how do you stay in business?…read more Growing up we would be treated with a visit to Pizza Hut after special sporting games. I was the oldest of 6 and we Loved the pan crust pizza. It really did not matter what was on it. But Dear Momma being a Nurse made sure there were vegetables in the toppings. Time passed and Pizza Hut changed the "vegetable" toppings to a larger cut. Don't like it. My kids don't like it. So when we did decide to eat here we would always get the meat lovers and a salad. Now I was pleased with these choices until Pizza Hut downgraded the salad bar. The new, (probably cheaper) salad bar serves no wows, only run of the mill simple, boring salad. Disappointed again. Even at this, we would continue to come until the service became an issue. And the service cannot be blamed on young, inexperienced workers. Management must take blame for the obvious poor training, mismanagement of not enough waiters and how to run the back. A typical visit runs like this. You enter and stand at the podium that says "Wait to be Seated". Several times you are passed without a word. Finally you are seated. Drink orders are not taken right away for they are rushing off. Finally they get drink orders. After seeing them rush by you a few times, they return with drink orders that usually are wrong. Rushing off again to again later return for orders. We order what we want. Long time passes and here they come, expecting maybe it's your breadsticks you ordered 20 min ago, you are told they are out of pan pizza... The ONLY kind we like. Next time I get roped into coming I am leaving right here. But you finally get your food and now are in need of more to drink. Refills are hard to get. I swear to never return each time. So.. Dear Mother convinced us to come Friday night after watching a play the children were in. We did not have to wait because Dear Mother arrived before us. Drink order was messed up. We were ignored on several passes. The lights flickered for some guys had the bathroom held up for what looked like lighting fixes. So a waitress, not ours, yells out not to worry the lights will stay on. SMH, who does that? After a long wait we were told they were out of pan pizza, (again.. the ONLY kind we like!), but were told hand tossed is just like it. Waited forever again. Pizza came out.
