Came tonight to this restaurant as it was highly recommended by friends…read more.. It is located at a "high end food court" place and it has a separate restaurant that is very nice. We arrived and had a very good round table that we reserved and were seated right away. We were greeted by the owner which is a plus! Congrats... Service was on the good side, caring for details at all times. Ambiance was also quite good, we came in Saturday night and there were two young ladies playing the violin that gave the atmosphere a delicate touch. As for food, we had several starters, fresh artichokes prepared in different styles, these were both very good.... don't miss these. Also the salmon carpaccio was on the very good side as I was told by my sister in law. The fennel salad was crisp, fresh and had a lemon touch. As main course, we had beef carpaccio that was served on a bed of a home made cracker that gave it a real nice crunch, the beef was thinly sliced and tasty. The rib eye was on point, the pepper sauce was quite nice. For desert, we had the pannacota and an apricot tart, I personally liked the tart a notch better.... we did learn that the "nutella" calzone was the best but we did not have it.... hopefully next time as we will for sure come back!!! The place is clean and looks great... they also have a private salon with a large table for business meetings or a private dinner.... This place is the real deal! Congrats....

Inside this upscale supermarket is a cafe and stations offering smaller fare. We love coming here…read moreto try new items. Most of the dishes we've tried are very good. The Aguachile is exceptional and the best we've ever had. Other favorites are the Tostadas de Atún and The Montados de bacalao. The Bocadillo de Bacalao was tasty and substantial, but I like the Montado version better. The Patatas Bravas are cubed and although seasoned and laced in crema, they were a little dry, but still good. The dish that was a clear miss was the Crispy Rice with Atún or Salmon. It was not crispy and was batter covered rice with a small bland topping. Service is usually good, but was not as nice as usual on this visit. Our first young man was super pleasant and helpful, but his shift ended. The young lady who took over was in a big hurry to sample food and chat with her coworkers. She started clearing our plates without asking and put a dirty plate on top of out Patatas Bravas while we were eating them! Mind you, there was no one waiting for our seats. A hiccup, but not cool at the prices charged. We'll try to avoid her station next time.

Saw this place as we walked by so I checked Yelp. Seemed ok so we went in. Ordered drinks. First…read moreerror. His Martini was nasty. The waiter remade it at the table so he made it right but funny how it was served in a cactus margarita glass. The bread basket came..extremely dry slices of bread and some saltines. Then we ordered our mains. Waiter said mine would take about 25 min. No problem so we ordered an appetizer to munch on while we enjoyed our drinks. My husband's main dish came right out within two minutes. Wait, what? So we sent it back stating we just ordered appetizers and mine was going to take 25 min... Appy came and we enjoyed it ( crusted cheese wrapped with some type of leaf ). Eventually my salt baked-crusted Pompano arrived. It looked as if they had just piled some fresh kosher salt on top. Didn't look baked. As the waiter removed the pile of salt, he started filleting the fish for serving. It looked mushy, not firm as he was carving..my first inkling of a problem. I took one bite and as it came close to my mouth, I got a faint whiff of something off and should have stopped there but being the food trooper that I am, I took that bite. It was pure nasty rotten fish. I asked my husband to confirm that I wasn't just being a wimp so he smelled it as well and said nope, don't eat it. They took it back and I had the grilled shrimp ( which wasn't exactly on the menu since their version was heavily covered in some type of cream sauce but when they originally brought it to my husband way before our appetizer, he asked to leave the sauce off ). The only saving grace was the family next to us that brought their pet goose for an evening stroll. I would not recommend this place and I have to wonder what chef would let a stinking rotten piece of fish to leave his kitchen!

But the yellowfin tuna tostados were swathed in sweetened soy sauce, the fish soup had little savor, and the casserole with red rice and seafood featured gummy rice and little seafood. The chips that arrived on the table were stale, accompanied by a salsa that was basically Russian dressing. Only the leche de tigres ceviche was good, mainly because the okay seafood was drenched in good spicy lime.
