Awesome spot. My niece is Jewish and had never tried falafel, and she loved it. We both loved the attention from the staff and how much they wanted us to try the foos. Their willingness to provide samples was also very charming. I am a huge fan of Hummus and pitas, and their hummus is the real deal. Ended up buying a bag of pitas brought straight from Israel to Mexico, to take home and make my own. They kept saying next week they will start selling chicken schwarma, yummm

It's absolutely stuffed with falafel, tomatoes, lettuce, hummus. Yummy!

Came tonight to this restaurant as it was highly recommended by friends…read more.. It is located at a "high end food court" place and it has a separate restaurant that is very nice. We arrived and had a very good round table that we reserved and were seated right away. We were greeted by the owner which is a plus! Congrats... Service was on the good side, caring for details at all times. Ambiance was also quite good, we came in Saturday night and there were two young ladies playing the violin that gave the atmosphere a delicate touch. As for food, we had several starters, fresh artichokes prepared in different styles, these were both very good.... don't miss these. Also the salmon carpaccio was on the very good side as I was told by my sister in law. The fennel salad was crisp, fresh and had a lemon touch. As main course, we had beef carpaccio that was served on a bed of a home made cracker that gave it a real nice crunch, the beef was thinly sliced and tasty. The rib eye was on point, the pepper sauce was quite nice. For desert, we had the pannacota and an apricot tart, I personally liked the tart a notch better.... we did learn that the "nutella" calzone was the best but we did not have it.... hopefully next time as we will for sure come back!!! The place is clean and looks great... they also have a private salon with a large table for business meetings or a private dinner.... This place is the real deal! Congrats....

Loved my experience dining here during the World Cup!…read more Azul was recommended by one of my colleagues from Mexico City and had great reviews, I decided to stop by since I stayed nearby. I came on a weekday and was seated very quickly. My lovely waiter explained the menu and highlighted some popular items. I ordered the guacamole, tortilla soup, duck dumpling mole, and tres leches for dessert. Everything was phenomenal, and the guac was out of this world! I enjoyed the presentation and the decor in the restaurant, I'd love to come back!

During a family trip to Mexico City, one of the places I was most excited to visit was Azul Histórico. I live in New York, and I had been looking forward to enjoying authentic Mexican chile rellenos at such a renowned restaurant. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The colonial courtyard creates a magical atmosphere, and the service was excellent from the moment we arrived. I also have to mention that the drinks were delicious and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, the chile rellenos didn't meet our expectations. My mom and I both ordered them, and we agreed that they were served quite cold and didn't taste fresh. The staff kindly offered to replace our meals, which we truly appreciated, but I decided not to. Instead, I ended up eating some of my daughter's meal since I knew she wouldn't finish it. Thankfully, the rest of my family had a wonderful dining experience. My dad, my husband, and my daughter all loved their meals and were very happy with what they ordered. We finished the evening with desserts, coffee, and hot chocolate, and everything was absolutely delicious. Overall, Azul Histórico offers a stunning setting and outstanding service. While my entrée wasn't what I had hoped for, the rest of the meal and the time spent with my family made it a memorable experience. I'd gladly return to try other dishes from the menu.

The line is fast since this is not a sit down spot. There is seating next door to the taco stand, but they are not affiliated with the restaurant and you need cash to pay for a table. We opted to stand at the counter. Overall, the tacos are really well cooked and so tasty. We got an order of each meat taco. My favorites were the steak and filet. I would love to go again, it was a good taco.

For its notoriety I expected a more grand storefront but it was just a standard food stall. You line up to order and pay and then they give you your food. You can take your food to go or grab one of the few tables next to the shop. The unique thing about this taqueria is that they cook their meats in slabs and place them on the tortillas as-is. They don't chop up your meat into dices and they don't have the typical taco proteins you'd expect either. We ordered most of the meats: steak ($58 MXN), rib ($88), filet ($77), and chop ($88). My favorites were the steak and chop. The rib was a little tough. All the meats tasted better with salt and I liked the green salsa on top. These weren't the best tacos I've ever had but they were good. While its Michelin star meant that I had to try it, I probably wouldn't go back.
