Initially, I got in the drive thru because I had my kids with me. The young man greeted me and I asked for a second to decide what we wanted, and he said to let him know when we were ready to order. This was the last positive interaction I had that day. Ten to fifteen seconds later, I tell him I'm ready. No response. I wait 30 seconds or so and try again. No response. I say hello again. Nothing. Another minute passes, and I get the "Hi, welcome to Wendy's" bit again, but it cuts off mid-sentence. I tell him I'd like to order a #8, and i can hear him talking to a woman in the background. I figure she's telling him that they're out of something, but he comes back and asks again if I want to order. I say I'll come inside. I wait in line at the counter behind two customers who are picking up DoorDash or Uber Eats orders. When it's my turn, the lady (Braids) asks me if I'm picking up an order, and whether I want to order. I explain that I'm the guy who just left the drive thru, and that either their speaker isn't working properly, or someone isn't listening. She says she'll be with me in a minute, and finishes working on a DD order. Finally I get to order, and it's like Braids has never run the register. She doesn't know how to put in saucy nuggets, and has to call over the lead (Polo) to show her how to do it. Okay, maybe she's new. We finally get it figured out, and they're out of most soda varieties. They only have Coke, Sprite, Fanta, and Vitamin Water to choose from. The fancy drink machine in the corner doesn't work (as I've read is pretty normal here). Three minutes later, we have my food ordered (there's only four of us) and I begin waiting. Now I have time to look around and see how disgusting the place looked. The counters were dirty, floors both in front and in the food prep area were wet and dirty, nobody was wearing gloves. All of it. Five employees on shift, five different work "uniforms". Drive thru guy was wearing a bright pink Rugrats hoodie. Polo was the only one who looked halfway respectable. Guy behind me in line orders saucy nuggets. Once again, Braids can't figure out how to do it, when had just been shown 30 seconds earlier. Polo to the rescue once again. Right about this moment, the actual manager comes walking in, immediately tells Rugrats to take off the hoodie, and yells that she has told him before. Finally my food is ready, and it's taken about 10 minutes. Four drinks, and I have to ask for a carrier. It took everything in my power not to tell the customers behind to cut their losses and run. The food turned out just fine (which is why it wasn't a one star), but the drinks were awful. The syrup or water lines (or both) need to be cleaned. It was a disaster. All of it. Went about 1 hour ago to the drive through. A lady told me it was change of shift and it wold be 10 to 15 minutes before they could take my order. All I wanted was one bacon cheeseburger. Visited Wendy's located at 430 S Belair Rd, Martinez, GA, ordered food, and received cold items. Returned to request a refund, but the credit card machine was inoperable, resulting in a cash refund. Initially paid $28, received $16 and change. So my son went inside to address the discrepancy.Oh, and they never gave a receipt, thank God for the Navy Federal app. The manager still tried to dispute that we paid $16 when she could clearly see the $28 charged to the card from Wendy's on the Navy Federal app. I will never ever go back to Wendy's read more

This was the worst experience at a Wendy's we have ever had. After a ten minute drive-through wait, we escaped the exasperating line and went inside to order our food to go. The restaurant was a mess. We wish we had taken the queue and left then. Unfortunately, we waited. The floors were a slippery mess, the bathroom looked like someone had urinated on the floor. There was no soap and no paper towels. After placing our order, we found that the self-serve beverage center was out of the soda we ordered. We waited 11 minutes for our order. Every item in the bag was cold from the French fries to the hamburger patty. The hair in the fries was a garbage can moment. There were no napkins, no ketchup and no other condiments. We actually felt badly for the team on shift because their morale was obviously low. I should have checked the Yelp reviews before ordering Uber eats from this location. I haven't had Wendy's in a very long time and had a taste for it. I placed and ordered and they got it horribly wrong and sent me someone else's order. Wow, where do I begin?!?! Well everyone working seemed cranky like they didn't want to be there. Then someone went from touching a dirty mop to food, without washing their hands. The manager looking person kept mean mugging us. We were in there at the register for about 5-6 minutes, nothing. We didn't get to eat because at that point we didn't want them to touch our food. People have bad days, I get it, but you don't treat customers like this and practice poor hygiene. I recommend looking at the cameras from 4pm to 6 pm. I used the app, got good friendly FAST service, great tasty food. The app lets YOU customize it SO many ways, pretty cheap. And so they can't misunderstand, it's clearly printed on the grill slip. Do you know of any other fast food burger joint you can sub out nasty American on your cheeseburger for real Muenster? My ONLY small complaint is, when I asked for "extra tomatoes" on the app, I got one little slice. On a second visit on another sandwich when I didn't ask for that, I got two big slices. It's Wendy's, they're all the same. I like Wendy's and if you're going to do fast food, Wendy's is way better than McDonald's or Burger King. This one had great staff, but sadly their fancy soda machine was broken. That soda machine that can do all the different varieties and flavors, Is reason enough to go to Wendy's. I've visited this location twice and was pleased both times. Both times my food was prepared properly and in a timely manner. The staff isn't rude and the inside of the restaurant is clean for a fast food place. Both times I went during meal rush hour but I was the only customer in line. Wendy's might not have started the Chicken War, but it certainly lost it dramatically. I stopped by for one of those two for five chicken sandwiches, and it was completely nasty. It looked and tasted like something you might find behind a warthog. The texture is kind of fibrous, and it was dried out. The three ladies behind the counter took almost 3 minutes to wait on me. They had to talk about what they were going to do after work. After I did order, it took all of 45 seconds to get my two sandwiches. That lets me know they do not make them fresh. They were probably sitting back there somewhere in some fat old ladies shoe. That's what gave its peculiar Aroma and taste. I won't be going back there anytime soon. I generally hold back on reviewing fast food places (because small mistakes happen), however, after today's order I'm making an exception. I placed an order through the app, which stated to go through the drive through. We did, but then we were told it wasn't in the drive through system and to go inside. Ok, odd, but not a big deal. Husband returned w the food. 1st thing I noticed was our large frosty was vanilla (we ordered chocolate), so he went inside to exchange it (only to find out the chocolate was broken). During that time, I went to dole out the burgers for my kids. My son, order correct....kinda. He had a plain double, but zero cheese in between 2 patties. Just one slice on the top bun. Awesome. My two girls? I ordered 2 double stacks w only cheese and pickles. Opened them up, there was everything, plus bacon. I went inside. They took the previous sandwiches back and remade the sandwiches correctly. At this point, let me remind you that this is an ONLINE ORDER. They can physically read the order. As we left I, being the mom and always the last to eat, opened up my supposed single plain cheeseburger.....that somehow had DELUXE toppings on it. Wipe it off and press on at this point. SMDH. We had also ordered nuggets, yet there was zero ranch that was requested with the order. SO, bravo....they got only the drink and the chicken nuggets correct. In general, I love Wendy's. It's usually my favorite fast food spot as their food is usually the best, however, this location continues to disappoint over and over again with lack luster care to orders.
