At the closing, the Paid Assessment Letter stated there was an outstanding special assessment, but stated an incorrect amount. The condo closed without the seller paying the outstanding special assessment. I found out 4 months later that this assessment of $2,600 was still outstanding and I was unknowingly paying it in monthly dues. I called David and he said he would prepare a letter to the seller and the seller was definitely responsible for the payment. I forwarded the specific data and waited, and waited and waited. He never wrote the letter. I started calling David, never once receiving a reply. I sent him numerous emails to which he never responded. I placed numerous phone calls and he answered none. On each of these calls I left detailed messages and again he never replied to one. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, OR ENCOUNTER A NEED FOR ANY FOLLOW UP, DAVID KAHN IS NOT YOUR MAN! HE OBVIOUSLY LACKS DETAIL TO HIS WORK, DOES NOT FOLLOW UP, DOES NOT BACK HIS LEGAL EXPERTISE, DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE COURTESY OF A RETURN PHONE CALL OR EVEN REPLY TO AN EMAIL!
