I went to this gas station yesterday because my car was so dirty I couldn't see out of the windows and needed a wash. I also bought gas. No problems there. However, the regular car wash costs $8. It is $7 if you buy at least 8 gallons of gas (which, btw, = $30 with current prices). They offer 4 types of washes, the $8 wash is the cheapest. The Extreme wash was $12. Yikes! I think $7 for a simple car wash is pretty outrageous. But it gets worse. First, there was a line. I waited for about 15 minutes. Second, when you enter the car wash, the floor/ground is so uneven that your car gets stuck and you have to rev forward or back. I went too far because of a big bump. A computer voice yelled at me "ba-up ba-up-ba-up" which apparently meant "back up" to any human voice. The wash just did an abysmal job. Spots of dirt remain. It does not get side mirrors. Worst of all, the drying system: the floor by the blowers was so bumpy it was impossible to get an even dry. My car got stuck and I had to lurch forward to get to the next bump to stick my tires. Overall, I will not be back. The car wash is a total scam. For a decent one, try the station on 70th and Main St (near state fair park). Better price and better wash.

Even though I paid at the pump, I went into the station to (1) inform the clerk that there was a problem, and (2) ask if I could use my prepaid car wash code at another BP location since it was taking so long to fill up and there was a big line for the car wash. Response to issue #1: Yeah we know, they have to fix it." Me: "Can't you put a sign up in the meantime indicating there's a problem with the pump?" Clerk: "I can't put signs up. You have to be higher up in the company to do that." Seriously? Am I on candid camera? Are Jay and Silent Bob around the corner?!? Response to issue #2: "I don't know. You can try it...." Great. So I'll drive to another BP nearer to my home just to "try it" and if it doesn't work, I'll drive back across town to hang out in line at this one. Oh, and thanks for the tip. I never would have thought to "try it" at another station to see if it works. Think this review is long? I've been typing it while in the car wash line. Fifteen minutes in and only half way through the line. Bottom line: don't come here.

The older woman cashier named Frankie made one sandwich instead of 2 that I asked for. So I KINDLY said, " no I wanted 2", she began to SCREAM EXTREMELY LOUD, yelling " I ASKED YOU, I ASKED YOU HOW MANY YOU WANT AND YOU SAID ONE" from the other side of the store! COMPLETELY BELLIGERENT! I kept my composer and she continued to SCREAM at me at the register. I said that I didn't want this sandwich either because of how she was talking to me and placed it at on the counter and she COMPLETELY LIED and said that I threw it at her. (LOOK AT THE CAMERA, SHE'S A LIER)Then she walked from behind the counter to the back and said something about Black and color while she was walking away. She's previously made a pizza that I ordered WITHOUT WEARING GLOVES and when I said something about it she said the heat will kill the germs! CRAZY!! I've seen here fight with a co-worker in front of customers while I was in the store. This lady is UNHINGED and SHOULD NOT be working with the public. She's putting Speedway and ALL of her co workers at risk! I usually avoid her at all cost when I'm in the store or bypass the store all together when I see her working. The place is clean, neat and orderly and people are always working unlike this place where it is always dirty people are always standing around behind the registers having a union meeting while the line is just piling up of customers waiting to check out. They just love to put clothes to signs so they don't have to help anybody and then when you have a complaint about anything, they just act like they don't care this place is very ghetto. It has been getting worse over the past few years. I no longer purchase hot food from here because the quality of the food seems to be getting worse and sloppier in the selections are very limited. I do not want to call up and special order a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin every single time I happen to stop by that Quiktrip among other items that they never stock and if they say they do, then they are lying to you. They won't try to oversell you on anything, and make sure to only tell you the fixes that are necessary. They charged me HUNDREDS under what I was quoted elsewhere, and were able to get the job done in a few hours. I have brought by car back to them for every fix up since.

The area is tiny and they have one singular chair to sit in while you wait. Multiple customers to the gas station came in to get food/drinks and I had to awkwardly get out of their way while I waited. They were also running behind so they couldn't get to my car for at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. They did a good job on the car and had a detailed report plus the oil change for a very fair price but honestly I'll probably go somewhere else next time cause its just less convenient when they don't have an adequate waiting room for people getting something quick done.

I used to frequent this gas station location when I worked in the area. I recently visited and…read morenoticed they are now under the Clark name, versus the prior, Amstar. I've always found the location to be well lit, clean, and reasonable priced gas for the location. They are typically cheaper than the other gas stations in the area. They have contactless pay at the pump, which I love. The window cleaner and paper towels are always stocked as well. An air pump for tires and vacuum is also available for a small fee and use on site.
