My experience was with the Kia team and I had great service from them from start to finish in the buying process. I didn't feel pressured into buying any extras that I didn't want though all the options were explained to me. Follow up service was great too with a phone call soon after purchase to check everything was OK and also a call a year later to check that everything was still OK. Basically, a good buying experience, not too pushy and very professional.

I was told it was an RAC warranty but turns out to be administered by TWG. I have a coolant leak and booked it into Chorley Kia to have an inspection. I was told it was the radiator. Chorley Kia stated that it wouldn't be covered by warranty as its normal wear and tear and a consumable part. What a load of rubbish!! The motor ombudsman clarifies a warranty as ""A vehicle warranty provides protection against having to pay for parts and labour following the mechanical or electrical failure of components such as an engine, fuel pump or radiator"". I've never in all my years ever had a radiator fail due to wear and tear!! On my return home I contacted the warranty company who said they were told by Chorley Kia that they didn't know where the leak was coming from and as far as they RAC were concerned the claim was on-going. On contacting Chorley Kia again they now say that the radiator fins are breaking away from the frame and it isn't covered. If I didn't know better I would think that the After Sales Manager who is rude and obnoxious was in cahoots with the warranty company. Chorley Kia refuse to help even though they sold me this 12 month warranty which is apparently useless. They have even suggested I go elsewhere to get the car fixed as they don't normally service this make of vehicle, but they will gladly sell it to you if you are daft enough to buy it, which I apparently was. !! DONT BUY A USED CAR FROM CHORLEY GROUP and be careful of any warranty sold under the RAC Brand Name.

Definitely avoid this garage…read more I had an ongoing intermittent fault with my car that happened at random times over a few months. I went to this garage and explained the fault in detail. I came back after 9 hours, I'd had no phone call or updates all day. I was told by the young man that greeted me that my 11 years old car was too old and he couldn't even get a quote for parts. I was surprised and taken aback and amazed that they hadn't even called to let me know. I started to ask if they might still try again to get the parts and was rudely and aggressively shouted at. The man then turned to walk away. I had to ask if I could have my key and without looking back he shouted over his shoulder, it's in the car. It was not in the car, and I had to come back in for it. I understand that not all faults can be repaired. But I did get this repaired elsewhere and it was less than an hour and an easy part to obtain. Even after a bad day there's no need to be rude to people who are in need of assistance and paying for your service.

Advisories from earlier tests were not identified on further tests, despite the work not being done, and work was recommended when not essential. How often do you compare the previous years certificate with the new one? The most serious problem was the missing of a ball joint issue which failed less than 4 months after testing despite almost £400 worth of work having been recommended/done. Fortunately it failed on a car park not a motorway but the vehicle had to be scrapped! Will not use again.

The service was very helpful and friendly, but they did try and push the finance on to you which I didn't like, offering extra discounts that would have been cancelled out by the finance agreement interest rate. They got the car taxed, MOT'd and serviced and threw in a CD player, so I was pleased with the service.
