I spoke with a pharmacist who cleared my prescription for delivery. I just had surgery and couldn't…read moredrive. My surgeon called after the cultures taken during surgery came back with a serious bacterial infection. The initial prescription made me very sick so my surgeon called in a different prescription. When delivery wasn't an option I called to find out why and answered the pharmacists questions. She added the delivery option back in and I paid for it. Why would another pharmacist stop the delivery of an antibiotic? I have receipts and emails showing it was paid for with delivery scheduled between 2-4 pm. No one notified me that a pharmacist had removed the delivery. When it wasn't delivered by 6 PM I checked the app. I found the prescription had been changed back to a pick up and it did not even show my payment. I still have the receipt and my prior payment was not canceled. If there were more questions then someone should have called me. What pharmacist would override what another pharmacist had already approved? I immediately tried to call and was placed on hold over and over for 45 minutes. I finally gave up. I will be heading into a 3rd day without a very needed prescription. I will change pharmacies after this. This is not the first time that I have been put through this by this, but it will be the last.

I'm not sure where to start in sharing just how much I appreciate the owners, pharmacists, and…read moresupport staff at this Medicine Shoppe on Thompson Blvd. as I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for somewhere around 30 years now (Since well before they moved to the Thompson location). They have always treated me warmly and they've always gone above and beyond to make sure all of my prescriptions are filled and delivered professionally & timely. While there may have been a few prescriptions they were not able to fill over the years - due to strict insurance guidelines, or various costs set between them and their suppliers, for the most part they get things filled timely and they do things right. I think as humans sometimes we forget to acknowledge others when they are actually doing a great job or providing a trusted service to the community. In reading through some of the reviews on here I see that people often lash out or are quick to complain when things are not perfect- which is truly sad, because we are all human and none of us are perfect. We have all made mistakes occasionally been constrained in our abilities to do our best by the reams of red tape or bureaucracy. I can't help but wonder if some of the negative reviews are because of whatever is going on in our own lives- as we all have our stuff to deal with and it's so hard to do it or go through it -all alone. All I can offer here for the negative posters - is this: I wish you each well going forward through the many challenges of your lives- I do indeed understand and sympathize with the weight those individual challenges can present, and how they can hinder the pursuit or realization of any positivity or happiness. It is my hope for each of you that each day will bring you at least one thing to be happy, positive, or excited for, so that anger and negativity won't consume every thought. I know things are difficult when having to get a prescription- because dealing with Medical stuff always sucks! But please remember humanity depends on each of us to be kind to one another and sometimes circumstances are just beyond anyone's control. In closing, I just wanted to take this time to say: This Medicine Shoppe is and has been absolutely awesome! (even when circumstances didn't allow them to fill certain prescriptions) and I truly appreciate the way they have always gone above and beyond to secure and deliver the many medicines that I've counted on to keep my Lupus and it's various complications under control. Most employees have been here for years, and greet my mother like a long lost friend when she hasn't been in for awhile. All my dealings have gone smoothly over the years as well.

Soaps, lotions, candles, purses/wallets and many other types of gifts, mugs, home decor etc... Walk straight back to the pharmacy and to the left there's a huge home medical equipment section. Glad all the aisles and sections had good signage. And the self check out is very easy and quick to do however, even though with me accidentally tripping it up, the worker here was able to get me through the process very easily. I always get tripped up when it's placing your item and then bagging it for the scales. Anyway, it's always embarrassing when the team members have to come and save me. Download the app so you can get coupons and deals on things. Sometimes there's some good things on there that will save you a few dollars.
