West Covina Towing was honestly so helpful when I broke down on the side of the road! I was driving to work when suddenly my tire burst! I was kind of shaken up because I was on the freeway when I called this place. The person who picked up was so calm and nice, it made a difference. Car had broken down on me a few times in the past however I decided to take it on a trip to see my family anyways. Long story short the car broke down on the freeway and left me stuck on the shoulder for a while. Did a quick yelp search for a towing company and West Covina towing had some good reviews so I decided to try them out. They sent a guy named Jack to help me out the response time when he showed up was actually a lot faster than I had expected and he helped me out quickly as I was not stuck in the best location. They're total life savers! My dad was going to one of the last Rams home games in our pick up truck. It had a bad battery so the truck ended up breaking down almost to the collesium! He had me take care of it while he walked to the game. Frantic, i called the first few places I found. West Covina towing by far was the quickest response. They rested assured everything was going to be okay and they would have a driver meet me. I ended up being 30 minutes late due to traffic and super stressed out. The driver, jack, stood by the truck. Said a few patrol units came by trying to give me a ticket and he coursed the away. Gave me a couple tips on the maintainence of the truck and what to do in emergency situations like that. He was an honest guy, and it took less than 10 minutes fr arrival and exchange of info to depart back on the road and meet him back home. I was relieved and grateful for the whole experience. A while back I had a horrible breakdown after coming home from a long trip. My Jeep began smoking heavily sending huge white clouds of smoke which began to obscure my view, while my car began to slowly die out. I was on a really busy street with fast going traffic. A cop stopped beside me and told me I had to get out and park it because I'd end up hurt. I was so troubled since I had no one to call to help me out. Family was on vacation, and boyfriend was out of town. So, the cops called a towing truck for me. The tow truck driver miraculously found it was just a busted rubber hose that looked just fine , but when the hood was shut down the hose was pulled causing a big rip that would open up the hose causing my jeep to immediately overheat. Thank God the driver, I think was named a Jack, found the problem for me, no charge! If I have to love a towing yard, it's definitely this one! read more

I just moved out to California and am completely new to all the traffic and street rules. Because of that, I got into a little bit of car trouble and needed towed. I had never used a towing company before so this was also completely new to me. Luckily, West Covina Towing really helped me out and made it easy for me to understand what I had to do. Within a half an hour, Jack (one of the drivers for the company) greeted me and quickly took care of getting my car where it needed to be. I'm very pleased with their service and the friendliness! This is not an actual tow truck company. They just get your info, give you a price to where your trying to go, and then they go and find a tow truck company to do it cheaper than they quoted you so they can make their profits. I mean whatever that's fine . But they had me waiting for 2hrs after they said it would only be 30mins. Then canceled on me because they said that I was rude to the driver when he called me. 30 mins later the same driver I talked to on the phone showed up and said he was dispatched by them and had no clue what was going on. He said they are not a towing company they just dispatch other companies and he told me it's messing with the tow system really bad. If the Tow company has a City Name in it. Chances are it's just a dispatcher trying to take your money. read more

My dad's car broke down in Sunday around noon time near by our house. We called West Covina towing and they arrived to our location a lot sooner then we expected ( not like the others, arrived around 1-1:30 hours after our call). Best experience ever! While driving home from Los Angeles for work during rush hour traffic, I got a flat tire! I didn't know who to call because I didn't have AAA, and no one was in the area to help me out. One of my friends told me how great this place was, so I called and they came to the rescue within 10 minutes! Larry, "the tow guy" done a great job by fixing my tire and getting me out of the middle of the freeway. I'll definitely be coming to this place more often! read more

Came out from shopping and my car wouldn't start. I needed it towed to the dealer. The dealership recommended giving them a call. I'm so glad I did. They told me it would be approximately an hour. I got a flat tire and needed assistance, so I called West Covina towing and got a quote for $49 and I confirmed that $49 was the only fee I would be charged for the service to change my tire. I was asked for my credit card information to secure my appointment, so I gave it to the representative. I was told that the driver would be at my location in 30 minutes. 15 minutes later after my initial call, I received a call back from West Covina towing and was told that my pricing would actually be $90 and that it was a mistake on their end. At that point, I was more frustrated at the fact that nobody was on their way yet, but I needed my tire fixed as soon as possible, so I kept my appointment. During that second call, I was told it would be 30 minutes (after 15 mins had passed from my initial call) and received a confirmation text message at 2:25pm l. To make a long story short, the driver did not get to my location till almost 5pm and I only got one update from the driver after calling the company twice myself. My experience with this company was a total headache and I do not recommend this place at all. read more
