There's a slight leak in what I believe is called a check valve. I was attempting to get a price to repair. We wanted someone to come out and look at the problem so we could get a quote to repair. After numerous follow up emails, they state they don't come out to review the issue, when they come out, they fix and they price by time and materials, but still no estimated price. Sorry but I'm not having someone come out and do repairs at some unknown cost. Based on the picture, I would think they could give me some ballpark estimate. At this point, I am irritated, I again attempted to get some sort of estimate. Parra, was not very helpful and suggested I contact Kim. Kim was seemingly more helpful, she stated the repair would be pretty simple and provided a sort of estimate. To get a closer number, she asked if there was a shut off valve in the basement, this would determine if they have to refill the sprinkler tank. I took a video and sent it 10 minutes after the call, she said she would review it in the morning. That was two weeks ago. I sent follow up email and follow up text message, no replies. Simply cannot recommend this Company.

I recently encountered a medical issue that required me to call an ambulance for myself to get to…read morethe hospital in Huntley. I couldn't stop vomiting and was severely dehydrating every time I'd get sick. Finally, I decided to call for assistance. The dispatcher took all the pertinent details while communicating that to the crew en route to my home. They are very thorough and get as much detail as possible. The fire and EMS crew used their key or code to get into my apartment building, as I was too sick to walk down to let them in. Our doors are all secured with a key fob. They headed up to my apartment and came in and introduced themselves. All were very kind, considerate, and patient. I was also in a load of pain, so that made things tough. They immediately got all the vitals going and wanted to get a line in for access so they could administer meds for the vomiting and the pain. I'm typically a very tough stick. I've had to have anesthesiologists put an IV in before. Typically, I at the minimum require an ultrasound guided IV. The paramedics weren't intimidated. The paramedic got the line in on the first try with minimal pain. Flushed great, off we went. We headed down to the ambulance and they transferred all pertinent details to the hospital- ahead of my arrival. They kept tabs on all vitals and patient info. The ride was smooth but quick to NM Huntley ER. They did a wonderful job handling both the pain and vomiting. By the time we arrived, the pain was subsiding and the vomiting ceased. The paramedics and fire department are nothing short of top notch professionals. They're incredibly caring and compassionate. Skilled and dedicated to protecting life and property. I've lived many places and they were the most thorough and responsive fire department I've dealt with. They are quick to respond and act quickly once on scene. A big thanks to the men and women who helped me last week! You are appreciated more than you know. Thank You.

Lots of curb appeal rolling up...knew we weren't in Elgin anymore! Drive thru station for the Engine Co. = delightful. Before taking off for their gala, the HFD'ers gave us a tour of the essentials. Vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring and free pizza had us feeling the vibe. However, the screwball dispatching is keeping them from that coveted fifth star. What's wrong? Well, it's too loud for starters. Also, there's no way we could tell if it was for us. We're still not really sure if anyone responded to an apparent accident Look, it's obvious that the homeboys have some comfy digs...but this Dell Webb neighborhood (City?) is for the birds. Last night, on my way to a wedding in Fox River Grove as I was driving on I-90 a big piece of…read moredebris flew toward my car and damaged the tire. My roadside assistance don't cover for the changing of the tire. Two police officers driving in the parking lot of the banquet hall offer their help with the changing of the tire. It turned out to be a more complicated situation, my jack broke so they went to get a bigger one from the fire department, it was very hot and muggy but they finished the job and I was able to drive back to Rockford safely. Big shout out to the Fox River Grove Police department, they were very helpful and I couldn't be more grateful!

I was considering moving to Fox River Grove, but am pretty soured on it after 2 tickets for not…read morecoming to a perfect stop before turning right on red light - a very manipulative way to make money for their town (on the 2nd ticket, I was very aware of making a perfect stop, but it was not perfect enough). Furthermore, the stop line is also removed from the intersection, so you need to cross it to get a good view if it's safe to turn. This photo enforced red light at the corner of 14 and 22 has nothing to with safety. I read where they made over a half million dollars last year on their red light trap. Beyond the money, they have also generated a huge amount of angry people and bad karma by swindling about 25 people a day. This reflects a general lack of care for people, so I'm writing off moving there. I used to get gas and other things in FRG, but will no longer support businesses there unless they get rid of this scam.
