The management staff at this location is horrible, they violated my civil rights under ADA, on numerous occasions, for which I kept giving them benefit of doubt to fix which they never did. The grounds are always filled with trash, landscaping is horrible as half of it is died. Gates community in which the gates seem to always be broken and not a single person gate is ever locked. Some don't even have handles. They add fees that are not disclosed or not normal for apartments to charge . Such as cleaning after moved out ( it was cleaned and moped ). I toured there today with Ms. DeLancey, she was very personable but professional. She was very patient with me which I appreciate. I can be very undecided. The apartments are cozy and clean. The pool area is phenomenal. I will be submitting an application here soon. read more

If I could give no stars I would. If you want to live in hell, live here. The women at the front office are horrible and extremely idiotic. I have lived at multiple places throughout college and I am shocked by how terrible this place is. I didn't know apartments couldn't even be this bad. Pool? Always closed for bullsh*t reasons. Maintenance? Expect everything to break and nobody will be there to fix it for several days. Overall, I wouldn't let my worst enemy live here. read more

Here r pics of this apt complex. I previously made a mistake. Going through all my pics I noticed my bedroom ceiling that had all the mold had already been treated. All my pics have dates. The regional manager came to my apt. He told me corporate policy is to first put bleach on it. U can tell it had already been bleached at least once, and painted over. A tenet moved in early April and was told they would fix her metal rails on her porch. Two months later they have yet to be fixed. This is a safety issue. If she leans on the rail it will fall. All over the apt complex u can see where there r metal rails literally ate through. The pics speak for themselves. The corporation that owns this facility is definitely not concerned for its tenants safety. I went in my attic to see what was up there. As u cannot under any circumstances believe the management here. Nor their corporate mouth pieces from their offices. I had to clean my apt once I moved in. The kitchen cabinets on top were filthy. Where the doors had been painted u can see they painted over all the dirt. My bay windows often leaked water when it rained. So I would have to move my furniture away from the window. They never fixed the window from leaking. I was not reimbursed for having to clean my apt on moving in. Nor was I reimbursed for having to have black mold on my bedroom ceiling for months. Every night with my ceiling fan on breathing that crap on my ceiling. I recall only to well one staff telling me, oh it's just mist on the ceiling. None of them every came to look. When I told my leading agent in her office about how dirty my apt was, and showed her pics. Her reply, oh the cleaning lady was having a bad day. I bought her a Starbucks coffee. That's not my fault she was having a bad day. So I'm suppose to do her job. At first I thought it was the manager. Whoever is at the top sets the tone. Now I think she is just following orders from management above her. Spend as little as possible on maintenance. Put a bandaid on much needed repairs, and kick the can down the road. I was told I'd have a grayish carpet. As the walls had been painted gray. The carpet was different shades of brown. Definitely did not go with the gray walls. I ask if anyone every cleaned the bay windows. I was told yes. U have these beautiful bay windows. What's the use of having them if they r not cleaned several times a yr. I was on the second floor. For safety reasons I could not clean the outside of them. And some r on the third floor. Look at all the pics. The property is decay. Take a close look around and scratch the surface. The grounds r beautiful. That's their only selling point. They r in hopes that alone will sell u. The regional manager told me verbatim, I had a terrible move in experience. U think? To make matters worse the management talk to me like I was stupid. Their only concern was to make me go away. They had a real arrogant attitude. No people skills, no interpersonal skills, just arrogance. This property is ripe for lawsuits. They definitely do not care about their tenants safety. Apt 319 was told the rail would be fixed. She moved in early April. Here it is June 07th. That rail is a huge safety issue. They "Do Not" care period. When any of the staff say hello that's a lie. Their only concern is profits over their tenants/human beings. Oh, they agreed to break my lease. They wanted me out of there. They r afraid of a lawsuit. One they cannot win. The pics speak for themselves. The fact the corporate keeps the present management tells me they r all in bed together. Incompetent, inept, do not care on any level. They will tell u what u want to here. When I went in my attic there is a fairly large black hole. Who knows what it is. U can tell my my bedroom ceiling that was some very nasty crap that had been there far too long. Everyone who saw the pics immediately said, that's black mold. Three of my clients who r nurses said, that black mole it can kill u. Also, other apt complex's that r just as old as West End Lodge. Like Beaumont Trace have kept up with the time. Putting profits back into the complex. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, etc. I know after I sent two registered letters to the Corporate Office. They sent some individuals to walk the grounds. The rents were lowered. Imagine that. I was never offered any compensation. Every apt bldg I went to I would show the pics. Every manager said, the word is they have let that place go. I show all my client the pics. And anyone who says they r looking for a apt. I tell them my experience at the West End Lodge, and show them the pics. Any spin they put on it there is no excuse period read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would do not move here you will regret it we just recently moved out and there charging us almost 5000$ in fees we have lived there for 2 years and we have had are toilet flood are apartment twice the last time they didn't finish putting the carpet down and we complained about it because we didn't want are 1 year old stepping on the nails they did nothing and now we're having to pay 400$ to get it fixed they also have teenagers who pick up your trash and they don't like doing there job so if they think the bag is to heavy you get a fee for it we have also had maintenance people walk into are apartment with no heads up when I was asleep with my daughter, grown men and they would unlock are door to come in so inappropriate also we complied about the smell of weed to the apartments several times and they did nothing, also when we first moved in are truck was broken into which is very common here I have read the bad reviews but I never thought they were serious until I lived here save yourself the trouble everyone I have talked to that has moved into here already a wants to move out and the people who move out say they hated living here read more

It's a great place for owners who have pets and have dogs. Also neighbors are great and friendly and it's quiet peaceful place. Im happy with the apartment compare to others in the area and the maintenance and office crew will work with you. read more

I never submit reviews really but when some man approached me and told me to not live here and to make sure I leave a bad yelp review I was curious about what all he was talking about. The man who gave the 1 star review stopped me while I was visiting my friend for the week, it was seriously creepy! I don't know what all happened between him and this nice property but what I have to say is the review I would give is a 4 or 5 honestly because no I do not live here and there are things that may need to be fixed but what complex doesn't need items fixed?!? My friend said she loves her apartment and loves living here especially it being so close to dowlen and mentioned the staff is really nice. Anyways, this guy is super creepy and if you look at reviews from him it's all mostly negative! People need to be more positive in this world! read more

I would not recommend moving here if you have kids! First of all, we had a mold issue took them forever to take us seriously and get it fixed while we had allergies, itching and a bad cough for months! We Had to even get our own mold kit for them to actually listen to our requests. Our son couldn't run around or play in our apartment without our downstairs neighbors banging or complaining at ALL hours of the day which is horrible when you have a toddler. The walls are so thin I could hear my next-door neighbor coughing and playing videos games. The complex slapped some paint on the outside of the apartments and want to up charge rent. While the inside is old, and not even updated our stove barley heats up! We found snakeskin in our patio where my son plays. And they don't do routine pest control sprays you have to ask which is crazy considering we get charged monthly for it. Parking is horrible! The pool is always dirty the water always has dirt with dead bugs and frogs in it. Once I was getting the tub ready for my son's bath and the water was yellow and dirty! The leasing office staff are so unfriendly and rude any help you ask for is an inconvenience to them. I could go on for days on how many issues we've had living here! Don't understand how they have 4 stars. Oh, wait I do they sent out emails constantly asking residents to give them 5 stars. read more
