It was 43F when the text came through, and never got above 50F+rain all Saturday. Methinks Edward Scissorhands was on his 3rd martini at the bar and just wanted Sat off. The text I got, while interesting, was such an example of un-creative lying, I feel glad that I avoided this untalented dolt and found another salon with more artistry and professionalism.

I walked to the door to see her new haircut and it looked like someone closed their eyes and chopped a straight line with hedge trimmers. She is now understandably distraught, knowing that in all of the wedding photos she will look like a toddler that got left alone with scissors. She isn't the type to leave a bad review but I felt the need to warn others to save them the heartbreak she's currently in.

Friendly service doesn't fix my hair though. Barber shops are one of the few places where the quality of the service plays a big role in overall satisfaction. It's kinda like surgery. I have only gotten Jayla both times I've been there, it seems like she doesn't know what she's doing. Very unsatisfactory, I definitely will be looking somewhere else for a cut from now on. But I mean, it's Carlsbad, this is probably some of the best there is here.
