A simple No would of been informative but nothing or any concern about the pain I described, so I called the next day. The very first question was how was I going to pay or which Insurance I will be using. I replied ODSP which covers what I needed done but she said "they don't accept that at this time" and then gave me a number to a horribly reviewed dental office far away that has many complaints. I guess the disabled don't deserve the same good dental care like you privileged people do huh? Find another place where you will be treated fairly with compassion and empathy because you won't here. Disgraceful business practice.

Terrible Experience - Would Not Recommend…read more My wife and I went to this dentist over two months ago, and we've had nothing but problems since. I had a root canal done, and my wife had fillings on seven of her teeth. We both still experience significant pain--I'm unable to eat on my right side where I had the root canal, and my wife can't eat properly on the side where she had the fillings. We were treated by the female dentist, and based on our experience, I absolutely do not recommend her. We feel like we wasted our money and time, and we left with more pain than before. You go to a dentist expecting relief and proper care, not to deal with ongoing issues. I can't speak for the male dentist, but I'd advise avoiding this place if you're considering getting work done.

At Hess Village, they have gone to great lengths to protect staff and patients, ranging from zippered doorways to removing clocks from the wall. Yet patients who are unvaccinated are allowed to attend appointments, which puts my dentist, my hygienist and me at risk. Altima is a private company that can set its own policies and the fact that it is not mandating vaccines is irresponsible and unacceptable. My primary reason for going was due to losing my benefits from work so had to get some work done as quick as possible. They were able to fit me in and get all the required work done in time.
