Now its not and has not been slept on! I would not buy Spring Air or go to either the sleep Shop or the Next in Auburn, their stuff is sub par at best. Another local bed store sells the same brand we were looking for but was on the high side. Then we called the Sleep Shop. They had the brand we wanted AND at right price. We concluded the purchase of our cabinet bed all by phone. We paid by credit card and were told by Devon we'd get a receipt from one of the delivery guys. Which we did. Personable SERVICE ended then! On the day of delivery (mid morning) we decided to call The Sleep Shop to see if we could get a time frame for delivery since we were not given one. I also asked if the cabinet bed needed to be put together or would it be fully assembled before delivery? Devon not only didn't know these bits of necessary information but conveyed to me in a 'very annoyed' tone of voice that he either didn't care or was too busy to check. The two delivery guys did call us 1/2 hour ahead of arrival..BUT had to be reminded by my husband to please 'mask up' but otherwise they were very nice. The Cabinet bed is perfectly beautiful! I did not do any research on the store prior to purchasing the mattress from them. If I had read the Yelp reviews, I would have known to stay far away from the scammers that own this place. Our salesman was Daniel. We were leaving the store, without making a purchase, and he kept following us out and lowering the price on the mattress and waiving the delivery fee. Since we live in Colfax, we thought it was a good deal. He sold us last year's model of a mattress. He told us it had springs and foam. It was delivered Friday, November 29, 2024. It is a 6-inch foam mattress. It is also not completely sewn together. It is not the mattress that we ordered. On Monday, December 2, 2024, I called and asked to speak with Daniel to advise him that I was delivered the wrong mattress. I was advised that it was his day off. I called again on Tuesday. I was advised that he had gone home with a backache. I spoke to a man who said he could help me. He told me his name was "Luis". This was a lie. Nobody by that name works there. Yet, I spoke to someone for two days who alleged that he was "Luis". At this point, we decided to drive the 31 miles back to the furniture store to see if we could get them to deliver the correct mattress. I knew that this was going to be an effort in futility, but I felt that I had to give it a try. We entered the store and Daniel was there, he was assisting another customer. There is a man, whose name I do not know, who is always sitting in the back of the store. We were in the front of the store, and he shouted to me that he could help me. I asked if he was the manager/owner, and he said he was one of them. I told him my issue. He looked up my sales ticket. He said that I got the correct mattress, but if I was not happy with it, he would upgrade it for me, for an additional cost. He asked me what I expected for the price I paid. I showed him the mattress that Daniel told me I was getting, and he laughed. Daniel was still with a customer at the front of the store. We went to the front of the store to wait for him. As she walked by me to leave, I told her to spend her money somewhere else or she would be sorry. The manager started screaming at us to get out of his store. We left the store, and the lady was outside waiting for us. I told her to go home and read the Yelp reviews, something I should have done before I ever went there. She said she wanted bedroom furniture. I told her to find a reputable furniture store to shop at. I hope she heeds my warning, or she will be the next bad review. I do not care what they say to you, they are liars, scammers and thieves and those are their good qualities. Once they have your money, you are dead to them. I will stand in their parking lot and let anyone who is planning to shop there that they are making a huge mistake. I will be filing complaints with each and every agency that governs scammers such as these. This is also elder abuse. Any review on this or any other site that praises them, was written by them. They are underhanded in everything that they do. If you are a victim of these scammers, please file a police report with Roseville Police Department. The delivery was very quick and very sufficient. The guys built everything for me in a good timely matter. They picked up all their trash. Everything went great. I am in love with my bedroom set. I went back inside and ordered it. My couch got delivered with in the next day. They set it up for me same experience and I got the couch that I really wanted.
