I got room 221 which was way at the end of the hall. It was a small room with nowhere to hang my coats or bags. So I went to the casino as planned. My parents were also checked in with a group. It was great to be able to have a room. I stayed a 2nd night which I was so grateful and have a room and hang out with my parents. We had dinner at the rest spending some the evening enjoying ourselves. End of the night comes and I go bac ​ to the room and soo happy to be able to finally stay and play.

Due to a short turnaround for several of us, with check in at 9pm and check out at 5 for flights, we opted to stay at the easiest off highway location and I'm so grateful we did. It's newer than most hotels in the area, accessible, and well cared for, plus the staff was super friendly. It isn't loud, which you might expect based on its closeness to the highway, which is a big win. I did have a broken drawer in my room, nothing that bothered me for a quick overnight, but the staff took a note down upon my departure and I suspect it was sorted quickly.

It's just a short, 20 minute drive southwest of town, but you feel like you're smack in the middle of God's Country with wide open pastures bounded by beautiful trees. There are friendly horses here to give a carrot treat to, as well as their lovable Saint Bernard, "Nora," to greet you and make you feel at home. Immediate plans for a summer "swimming pond," BBQ's, and others will be a definite, attractive boost to this place. We stayed in the "Cowboy Cottage," one of three cottages of various sizes and features offered here. It's quite comfortable for two people with a full-functioning kitchenette, single bedroom with a queen bed, 3-piece bath, flat screen TV with satellite channels. There's baseboard electric heat as well as a wood stove for those cozy, extra chilly nights. The personal touches the hosts have added make your stay that much more welcoming. Every attention to your needs is taken care of and the level of hospitality they provide, I found, is superior to many other places we've stayed at in the States and Canada. Pricing is on par with other places we were interested in. But, it's just that extra level of detail and attention we got while staying here that will keep us coming back. I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else.

When we informed the front desk person who was annoyed and very dismissive of us. This is our annual trip for back to school shopping and fair, we book a 8 - 10 room every year. We did enjoy the slides and pool and the hotel accommodate the request to have all our rooms located on one floor, we all enjoyed the continental breakfast.

I cannot officially promise that they provide the best value out of all inns in Canada as I have yet to stay at every inn in Canada. However, I can confirm that the accomodations were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and that the staff were kind and friendly. I am looking forward to making my own way to Prince George in due course as an adult, and this establishment will be my first choice of places to stay when I finally have the opportunity to do so.

Decent mid-range motel right off of Hwy 97…read more I stayed here just one night one a recent road trip. The woman at the desk was efficient, if not very patient (she appeared to be alone and the place was a bit busy when I arrived though). Price: Moderate considering the location and amenities. WiFi: Free and speedy. Cleanliness: Very good. The towels were slightly small and thin, but soft nonetheless. Room: Nice - with a three-drawer dresser, small refer, 4-cup coffee pot, mirrored closet and a desk with one chair. Television (I didn't use), a couple of night stands and a large air conditioner unit. Bathroom: Fairly basic, though the fan is a bit noisy. Shower: Here is where the star rating drops - a lot. Very good water temp, high-pressure needle spray that can't be adjusted, so if you have delicate skin, skip it. The bad part was that the shower curtain was so lightweight and the water pressure was so high, it 'sucked' the curtain into the shower area, nearly wrapping around me as I was trying to take as shower. As there was no way to adjust the water pressure or spray pattern, I had to resort to wetting the bottom of the curtain so it would stick to the tub - and leaving a 10-12 inch gap at one end so the air could escape. Seriously - it was almost like someone was standing ton the other side of the curtain and trying to hug (or otherwise caress) me through the damp material - clammy and slightly disturbing. Overall, it was a decent place to stay, but I think I'd take a pass next time since I like a relaxing shower after a long days' drive - and fending off amorous shower curtains is not my idea of relaxing.
