After she continually told me I was wrong and that they just could not make a delivery that far, I asked her to just cancel the order , she then hung up on me. My moms birthday is on a Friday. The lady said she could not make ANY deliveries on Fridays, because for some reason they just keep have funerals on Fridays and she does not understand why. Buyer Beware: Legg Creek Farm is the worst in Texas in our opinion, and should be investigated by the Texas Dept of Agriculture! In a repeated pattern Legg Creek delivered cherry trees which never leaf out & died (we wrote it off), then apple trees (we wrote it off again), then plum trees (another write off)!! We kept trying to support Texas Growers but Legg Creek Farm is such a joke... On the up side we did have some luck with Legg Creek Farm Elberta Peach Trees... BUT, the last straw was in 2023, as we ordered 16 Majestic Peach Trees, Legg Creek Farm delivered the saddest & most pathetic, 6 were actually delivered (DOA) Dead On Arrival, others never leafed out, Majestic, that's funny!?! Legg Creek Farm should rename them as "Pathetic & Pitiful" Peach Trees, if they actually believed in truth in advertising which they don't... It's against the law to sell dead trees!! Don't get me started on the Blackberry & Blueberry plants, literally the turmeric was DOA too, just a horrible experience with Legg Creek Farm, never again... Its BUYER BEWARE going forward! The lady that helped me was friendly and while I was waiting, the other employees were just as helpful and friendly. I don't get that at any Wal-Mart as a whole. They have a good amount of stuff from hardwares, electric, paint, flooring, hunting, etc. I'll be back.

I went to them in fall wanting a fast growing tree to put in my front yard. They didn't have much…read moreto choose from and I should have left then. But a sales lady showed me a magnolia tree where one side had been cut off. It looked strange, but I was assured it had only been damaged in transport and would fill out get new branches soon. They're the experts, so I bought it. A man, I assume was the owner, started yelling at the sales lady saying she left her walkie in the bathroom and he was trying to get ahold of her. She had other customers who wanted to buy more than a tree! He said this in front of me, like I didn't matter!! RUDE! By the end of spring one side of the tree still had no leaves or branches, the other side looked like a few branches had died. I called and they gave me the lady who sold me the tree. She said to cut the dead branches off and it would be fine. I did and a few weeks later more branches would snap off. I called again and was told I must have planted it too deep. I took photos for them, it was planted right, must be too much water, or not enough water, or the soil wasn't good enough. They wouldn't ever admit they sold me a sickly tree that they knew there was something wrong with it. Fast forward a few years, their news letter says if you have questions just ask. So I emailed asking questions about mulch, how to prevent weeds over winter and the best time to fertilize. Danny emailed back and said he would call. I have the Home & Garden's ID on my phone but never got a call from them. I called them a week later asking for Danny and said he was going to call me. A girl said he was with a customer, but she would give him the message and have him call me. It's now been two months since he said he would call and hasn't. So I think their communication is terrible, they don't seem to care if they sell their customers bad plants, a lot of their plants are cheaper at Home Depot or Lowes and they yell and humiliate their employees in front of customers like they should be grateful they even have jobs. No way could I ever recommended The Home & Garden center to anyone.
