Do not go here. My daughter has had a spacer in her mouth for less than a year (placed by them)…read moreand she's supposed to have it for many years to come. The cement on the spacer came off and they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount to fix their own mistake. Not to mention she has already had multiple major gum infections from said spacer. There's also no transparency in billing. You will pay for something "completely" and check and double check with them.. and somehow another bill will arrive.

The setup they have due to covid is wonderfully organized. You have to arrive 15 mins early and stay in your car till the previous patient is not in the same area as you. They scan you for your temperature upon entry. Sad part was that only one parent was allowed. I'm sure it was for the better cause I was already riddled with fear. Thankfully the staff and dentist was kind enough to let me FaceTime while I sat outside. The staff was kind enough to walk my husband through the steps, provide information on dental hygiene at our daughters age and get them setup in a room for the dentist to arrive. Dr. Bryan was our dentist. He was super friendly to introduce himself to my husband and me over the phone haha. Answered all our questions and really took the time to talk to us. He checked our daughters teeth and also did a quick clean. He is strong cause our girl is a fighter haha. He was able to hold her down in a way that wasn't painful or scary as a parent. I'm definitely the type to be like "uhm no, stop please." But she was in good hands. At the end, she got a sample toothbrush, toothpaste and a little toy for her bravery. As a parent, it can be very nerve racking going to any doctors appointment because you worry about your baby. But I'm soooo happy I chose West Metro Pediatric Dentist. I feel at ease and I know next time I won't be as worried about taking my daughter in by myself haha

She said last time he told her not to cry because they'd have to start all over. When I asked about that, Strange assured me he'd never say that. Lie number one, the second cavity we heard him tell her not to cry. Lie number two, he told her he'd just give her a little squirt upon entering her mouth, instead he gave a shot. Due to her medical trauma, we explained the importance of trust and transparency. He failed on those two fronts. Does he believe tricking your child is the best approach? He treated our child like an annoyance. Tears were coming down her face and not once did he do anything to give her any emotional comfort, just his standard don't cry. She was scheduled for three cavities, he did one and said come back for the others. Come on man, kids are going to struggle and cry. If you can't handle that, go work on adults. She lost her trust in him and now we have to find somewhere else to finish the other two. We gave very specific instruction on how she best operates and he didn't abide by it. He even said it makes him sad she doesn't trust him. One, that's on you for not earning trust. Two, don't make this about how you feel, totally inappropriate. Trust is not his strong suit, which is scary to hand your child off to.

They were so kind and approachable with their care, they were quick and accurate. I'm always just left super impressed. Plus the waiting room is adorable!

I kept hopping around because no one seemed to do a great job or the turnover would be so high that I never saw the same person. Enter Dr. Peterson and her amazing staff. I have had some serious work done there and have not had a single issue. I feel better about the health of my teeth than I ever have, in part because I can afford two cleanings a year with their discount program. They have an endodontist in the same building which is convenient for people like me, who need annual root canals, not to mention the staff is truly the most enjoyable of any doctors office I have ever been too. And it's genuine- you can tell everyone there wants to help. If you don't believe me- I drive from Parker to Wheat Ridge to see them!

I ended up moving several hours away from the Metro area and had to change dentists. He discovered that 2 of the 8 fillings she performed were bad - 1 fell out and the other still had a partial cavity underneath it. When I asked him whether he thought I needed those fillings, he was extremely diplomatic and said his software wasn't the same so he couldn't zoom in as much and that some dentists were more conservative than others. I think that was his professional way of not throwing her under the bus (what did he have to lose by agreeing that there were cavities that indeed needed fillings immediately). Although she fixed both for free, I now have pain in my teeth frequently - not just those that had to be repaired but others as well. Again, no cavities in my adult life discovered by other dentists before or after her. It is true that her staff is nice and she has a fancy office, but I had believed that dentists were medical professionals that look out for your health and wellbeing first rather than financial gains by doing unnecessary procedures. I now have an intense fear and distrust of all dentists and cannot iterate strongly how much I believe that she falsely diagnoses cavities and then performs shoddy work resulting in lifelong pain. I wish I would have gotten a second opinion before accepting her diagnosis.

There has always been staff turnover but the newbies have seemed to step in with a professional and friendly attitude. Dr Ngo used to be so friendly and engaging but over the last year, I have noticed a change in her approach to my daughters. Our last visit in February was when it felt most obvious that things were different with her. Her friendliness and compassionate approach were missing. I found her to be abrupt and rude. Two weeks ago, my youngest daughter developed a painful sore at her gum line and I was worried it was an abscess or something serious. For the first time ever, outside our scheduled every 6 month checkups, I called the office concerned. I spoke with THREE different people and clearly, none of them had a clue about what they were talking about. They could not get me in for 3 days so I asked to text the pictures to Dr Ngo so that she could assess if this was an emergency or not. The staff told me there is NO cell phone options ( shocking in today's world) and the only option was to email the photos and they would get back with me. I asked to speak with Dr Ngo and they refused and transferred me to yet another unknowledgeable person. At that point, I emailed the pictures and NEVER heard back from them. After day 3 of not hearing back, I called to cancel our appointment because we had went to Urgent Care, The receptionist asked " How is he"? The patient that has been going there for 8 years is a female. Clearly, no investment in knowing their patients or even looking at their screen for a name or gender. After considering the disappointment of our care over the last few months and the unfriendliness of the dentist, I feel we are just a number, not a valued patient. We are moving on to a new pediatric dentist and office.

My concerns are with the office's insurance and administrative department, namely, Carolina, which was exceptionally rude and abrasive towards me and did not perform her job professionally, which caused me extreme stress and discomfort from lack of the proper dental care because she would not submit my claims properly. Because of her incompetency, she took this out against me and initially blamed the software they were using stating that it would not submit my claims. After waiting months for this to be done properly and calling her to ask what was going on, she became excessively rude and nasty with me for asking that she process thiscorrectly. She always wanted to blame somebody else for what she could not do as required by her job. I have never met somebody so unprofessional and acrimonious as this individual. Then she tried to shift the blame on me for my attitude due to her totally incompetency. Over several months, I was repeatedly told that my primary insurance was inactive when it was actually active. I also experienced delays in having insurance claims submitted and received inconsistent information regarding the status of my claims. On multiple occasions, I was told someone would return my phone call, but weeks passed without any response. These ongoing administrative problems delayed my dental treatment, prolonged my dental pain, and caused significant stress and frustration. At one point, I had to seek treatment from another dental office because I could not get the insurance issues resolved. When I attempted to ask questions about my insurance or request copies of my dental records, I felt that my concerns were not addressed. Instead, I was repeatedly interrupted during phone conversations and found the interactions to be unprofessional and discouraging. When I asked for a copy of my dental records, she stated if I came in the office, they would call the police. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was a recurring pattern over an extended period despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issues. I sincerely hope the office improves its insurance and patient communication processes so that future patients do not experience the same delays and frustration that I did. Repeated unprofessionalism in route treatment of this dental office by the staff is totally unacceptable. I would avoid this office completely because they do not process your information correctly, and the staff is very abrasive and acrimonious.
