Difficult to contact - we have used them for quite sometime. In the spring of 2016 the technician left a valve open which was only discovered by my neighbor the day after the spring winter turn on service. They have fuel sur-charge fees and late payment fees (understandable). Decided to try Evergreen this year - we'll see. If they only were able to have better communication we may have kept them aboard.Before that 2016 service they would have a 4 star, after the problem they were a 3 star, now a 2 star... read more

We have had non stop issues since day one of installing the new sprinkler line. How can line leak so often when new? What a waste of money. How can sprinkler line only have one year warranty? Even your own employees said they did a terrible job installing. Had to learn how to fix our own line because you charge so much to fix. read more

The "installed" a new line in the back yard that lasted 14 months. Now every summer we replace 3-4 leaks. Called left messages with a guy, no call backs. They Couldn't fix a leak. Horrible company to avoid. Couldn't fix correctly a line on a different issue so the sprinklers go and almost hit the neighbors house. read more

WORST sprinkling company around. We have had nothing but problems with them. Repeat visits for the same thing. Techs aren't consistent and don't know what they are doing. Make you pay for things multiple times. Don't appreciate customer loyalty at all. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I have used these guys for years, have not run across any issues like the other reviewer described. They have been competent and pleasant for summer after summer, and they are not really expensive. Whenever we break a head they get out in a timely fashion and take care of it. read more

I had a bad experience with Hydro Seed. Long story short, they make empty promises and I don't feel they are trustworthy. I have text messages (multiple over several weeks) promising they would come out and reseed my lawn after the first application was a washout and they never showed up. In the end it is more trouble then it's worth for me to keep going after them so I just fixed the problem on my own but I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Been using West Michigan for over 5 years now and couldn't be happier with them. The techs are always friendly and knowledgeable. My sprinkler system works perfectly every year thanks to their care and when someone drives over a sprinkler head they are very prompt to schedule the repair. The owner is outstanding and understanding as a person can get. As for the other review about WMS, don't know where they are coming from as I've never had a over billings or any "shady" techs trying to swap out equipment just to bump the price. I've had several different techs out for service and never met one I wouldn't recommend! read more

Using this company has been one of the worst and most frustrating business transactions I have ever had. I paid for the spring/fall package in the spring this year. I scheduled for the spring start-up and they called and cancelled the appointment. I called my wife later that day from work and she informed me that their tech and been to my home and performed the work. I called their office to find out what happened and why he showed up anyway, without my knowledge, and the woman had no idea who showed at my house or how the schedule got messed up. This was frustrating because I wanted to be home and ask a few questions while the work was performed. As the weather got warmer I wasn't sure if I needed to adjust the settings for the system and called the office to inquire. I had to leave a voicemail, as usual, and as usual did not receive a call back. I sent an email a couple days later asking for advice and finally got a response, many weeks later. So, just recently I scheduled for winterization, as part of the package I have already paid for. I scheduled for October 24th from 5pm-9pm. I left work early and sat at home all night. Nobody ever showed or called to cancel, even though I received an email confirmation of the appointment that day. I called the next day and rescheduled for Friday, November 4th from 5pm-9m. Once again, I received an email confirmation of the night's appointment. I Left work early, again, and even called on the way home to confirm someone would definitely be coming. The woman confirmed the appointment, gave me the tech's name, and told me he would call when he was on the way. Once again, nobody called me or showed for the scheduled work. I called Monday, November 7th to find out why this keeps happening. After trying to convey my frustration and asking that the appointment be worked around my schedule, since I already left work early twice and sat at home waiting all night, I got a lot of attitude and it was very clear the woman was not sympathetic to the situation or didn't care at all. I asked to speak with a manager/owner or someone in charge and she declined for that to happen. I asked for a phone number and she said she didn't give out personal numbers. I told her I didn't want a personal number but just wanted to speak with someone else. She made this impossible to happen and stated that the shop number is the only phone number to call. At this point I don't want to deal with this company ever again. I do not want to have to call or email or deal with this company ever again. But, I do need the service performed and have already paid for it. If nobody is willing to make that happen, I just want a portion of my money back that I spent on the spring/fall package. Clearly this company does not want my business. Their loss. I am loyal to good companies and they could have had a customer for life. I feel very frustrated and taken advantage of. Update as of 11/08/2016: So, not that it makes the whole ordeal okay...but, a rep from West Michigan Sprinkling came out to Holland to my work to personally apologize and give me a refund. He was sincerely apologetic and upset by the whole situation. I know a few individuals don't represent a whole company and that somewhere on the ladder is someone who cares a lot for their customer's satisfaction....just too bad I didn't get the right people/person from the beginning. This company is on the shady side. All about billing and over billing. I've had them out 4 times now and every time it has been a different guy and they all say something different. They are looking for excuses to swap out heads and nozzles to milk the clock and jack up the bill. Immediately after summer turn on I was told all good. 2 days later I have fountains in my yard and a fat bill. They come back out and spend 10 minutes fixing that problem but "diagnose" a dozen others even though the previous guy said the system was great. 3.5 hours later they have swapped out a bunch of nozzles and told me it was a buck a nozzle no big deal. Well they were billed at $6 a nozzle plus hit me for heads and 3+ hours labor. I'm already in it for over $500 and I've used the system 2 days this year. If you use this company beware. They just want to milk the clock and replace things not needing replaced just to run up your bill. And they won't respond or explain. read more
