EXCEPT the guy running the train and two men cleaning the alligator pen. The girl in the bird encounter cage was rude, seemed very annoyed by everyone walking in to visit, and talking on her phone. Some of the cages had a lot of trash. I feel this place has a lot of potential and could use some updates. The boat ride was very nice but I don't recommend with a toddler who is on the move as it was hard to be still the whole time.

They have a semi decent selection of animals and the zoo itself isn't terribly small. Definitely got my steps in. I would say it's more for kids because of the size of the zoo but adults can enjoy it as well. One thing I really didn't like tho is that some of the animals seemed to be really depressed. A lot of them were pacing around their enclosures like they wanted to escape. I don't blame them cause a lot of the enclosures are WAY too small for the animal it holds. It's also not good to have them be alone. Felt really bad when I thought about it. I think the only reason I would go back is to support the animals. I mean, once you've been there once it really doesn't seem like a repeat place.

We enjoyed our lake day and then came back to drop the boat off and grab a bite. We met the cook Charlie and he made us up some incredible catfish bites. Everyone there is incredibly nice and the fish is fresh with being from the lake directly. Will absolutely be back!

Ours had 2 bunk beds in one room, 1 queen bed in another room and a pull out couch. Very spacious with 3 parking spots right in front! It was so clean and stocked with all the essentials. The staff here are also amazing! We knew we would be driving in after hours and they made sure we could access our cabin and check in the next morning! We even rented 2 kayaks and they made that process was too! We had easy access to the docks and were able to get some fishing done! The kids loved the park and we even hiked on the nearby trails! This place is kept so nice and felt private! We had such a great experience we would do this again and recommend staying here!

Neither were very inspiring. I definitely spent more time picking up trash than enjoying the park. They have a pool, but it's not in service and the visitor center was also closed. It would have been nice to know these things before paying for a complete waste of time. My favorite part was the spigot in the picture.
