He expressed his absolute interest in purchasing the truck and told him he would be there Saturday as it is a 3 hour drive from us. My husband loaded a trailer to his truck and pulled out at 7am Saturday morning only to get there and be told they sold it Friday. The courteous thing would have been to contact my husband and let him know they had sold it. It cost my husband fuel and time traveling in horrible weather for no reason. It all could have been avoided with a simple phone call. Shame on you guys!!!

However, our experience took a turn when we went to pick up the truck after purchasing. After driving over 3 hours to get there, we found the truck exterior dirty and with only 2 miles left until empty. When we kindly asked if they could at least fill it up, they told us there's a gas station across the street. I believe that filling and washing the customer's vehicle is common courtesy before pick up at a dealership. It was very disappointing to see that this wasn't the case here.

I was searching all day and looking at different lots, but they either didn't have what I wanted, were too pushy, or flat out wasted my time. I found them as I was traveling north up the valley and pretty much was going to give up after them if I didn't find the car I was looking for. I searched their up-to-date website that had honest pricing and no shady "call for price". I found a car I was interested in and headed there. I went in and was greeted and shown the car. I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them. Lucky for me my boyfriend has what we needed to grease And gap them, otherwise it might have messed up my car. Maybe he was new, either way, up selling, offering information is helpful. Maybe the employees just need more training.
