We thought about going to the new car lot but decided if they didn't have time for us @ one lot why would it be different. We try to see him on Saturday, but didn't get responses, came into town, got a message just prior to our arrival, We decided after three different poor experiences here with different dealerships in the valley, we decided to try in Salt Lake City. Here is what I expected: be treated like a valued customer (I mean I'm wasn't going to spend a lot of money but work with me). Just because I wasn't going to buy a $60,000 car treat me like I was. Take the time to listen to me and answer my questions. Give me options. Don't expect me to pay MSRP. Two of the three dealerships here, must be doing well enough to gouge customers and have customers pay full price but I didn't. The third, could not be bothered because we wondered the lot for 30 minutes and not one salesperson came out to talk to us. They told us we needed to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs and that would solve the problem. After charging almost $900 the code came back in less than a month. We took our car back in and they told us they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and to come pick it up. We asked for a list of tests they ran and the results. We got a small list but no results. A simple search from chat gpt told us what the problem could be and easy tests that could be run to confirm it. Two other mechanics confirmed that they could have run a simple test to confirm the head gasket was bad as well. Now we get to pay another mechanic to diagnose it and replace the head gasket after already wasting $900 with carsmart.

I have been coming to this Les Schwab for about 9 years, but won't be anymore…read more I had them replace the shocks on my car in the fall, and they were awful, arguably my car was better with the old shocks. The new shocks are rough and noisy. I brought it back in and was told that everything looked good and that after a test drive it was fine. I drove all winter, the noisy aspect got worse, and the ride didn't get better. I took it in again, and got the same answer that nothing was wrong. I looked at the invoice, and looked up the shocks. The shocks they put on are the cheapest shocks you can buy at AutoZone, but at a significant upcharge, I'd rather them tell me, I got cheap shocks, and I got what I paid for, instead of trying to gaslight me into the fact that there is no noise/the ride is smooth. Won't be going back to Les Schwab.
