I inquired about my mom's second set of flowers because she only received one thus far. I was told in a snarky fashion that it wasn't ready yet and there are no timed deliveries for Mother's Day and then hung up on, which shocked me. They've normally been very polite. They did arrangements for my wedding and other occasions. Flowers are usually very beautiful, but today's customer service left me wondering if I'll ever use them again... it's a shame.

TIP - You save on the delivery charge by doing this as well! Natalie took my order today. She ran through a list of all the wonderful seasonal flowers they have in right now (because of the Easter holiday). They all sounded beautiful to me so I decided to go with the "daily deal" for my friend's birthday bouquet. I could not have received better customer service. She described the flowers to me, I gave her a price that I did not want to exceed, and she's working her magic as we speak. She even gave me an ETA as to when the flowers will be delivered to my friends house........TODAY! Yup, TODAY! Same day delivery with zero price gauging. My plans were to make a grand entrance, after seeing my mom again in two years, coming from Los Angeles, California. I went over to the near by grocery store that went to growing up and they did not have the goods that I need. Instead, Flowers that were on their way out to the trash. I quickly Google searched the nearest florists and came across Cloud Florist. A nice little boutique shop 3 miles out. I thought I'd give it a shot. Out comes this guy with is cut dog, ready to help. I had told him my struggles and what I was up against. This gentleman understood immediately and started going to work. I had told him a few things extra that I need him to add to the recipe like color alterations. He took this complex concept and went to the back behind the magic curtain like some wizard out of the Wizard of Oz. About 20 minutes later, this guy comes out with the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen. Decorated with these awesome corsages! I had to tip the guy well because he .are my day!!! The flowers were beautiful and they even added a lovely, tropical anthurium to the arrangement since I and the recipient are from Hawaii. I made many calls to many different florists, one of the well-known recommendations actually hung up on me because I didn't know my friend's hotel room number, although I tried to tell them I could get it. I highly recommend Cloud florist.. and you should read about them sometime, three generations in business for over 100 years. I can see why they are still in business! I had a very disappointing experience with Sissons Flowers & Gifts. I called to order what I believed would be a $55 bouquet, but my total unexpectedly came to $81 due to added same-day delivery/demand pricing that was never clearly disclosed on their website or Facebook page. Pricing transparency matters, and if costs increase for same-day orders or demand, that should be stated upfront rather than presented only at checkout. The ordering process itself was frustrating. I had to repeat myself multiple times and spell out nearly every word for the representative taking my order, yet the birthday card still had our names spelled incorrectly. After realizing the issues, I called back to verify the birthday card information and was told I would need to speak with the owner, who later returned my call. The owner offered only a $7.99 refund and provided no meaningful explanation beyond saying they "don't charge a surcharge," while also acknowledging that prices increase for demand and same-day delivery. Regardless of terminology, charging more for same-day service without clearly disclosing it in advertised pricing is misleading and creates the impression of false advertising. Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and careless mistakes made this a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this florist based on my experience.
