I had a great experience with WSH from start to finish. My design consultant was Andrew Williamson. He called me promptly to set up an appointment at my house. I was looking for a tub to shower conversion. He came by on time, as promised, and spent a great deal of time going through options and answering any questions my neighbor and I may have had. I wanted to put the shower in sooner than later and he was able to get me scheduled for the following Monday. As promised at 8am on Monday the installers arrived on time, came in, explained what they would be doing, and went straight to work. They were extremely knowledgeable and throughout the day checked in with me to show where they were in the process and answer any questions. They were finished and cleaning up by 4pm. I must say in all my years of hiring contractors to do work for me, Chad and Carlos were outstanding! They new exactly what needed to be done and went right to it. I signed a contract on March 10th with a charming salesman, Christian Stevens. $18,061.00 for 2 doors, installation was April 1st. The installation was very poor. The front door was not water-tight; in fact, you could see daylight through the threshold. The back doorframe was cracked, I'm convinced the crew knew it at the time, because the the man said, oh shit after the wood cracked. I called immediately, and after 4 days, they came out to fix the front door. The door failed after "Q" left, and someone else came a few weeks later. he fixed only the front door and said they would install a new frame on the back door on April 29th. I asked Westshore the other day for a $1000 credit, and I would have the back door repaired myself. Westshore refused my offer. Today is May 13th, and Westshore called this morning to say a person would be out to fix the door tomorrow. I don't know how Westshore earned all the 5* reviews? I have heard that some companies have friends and family post on their behalf. I do feel they owe me a refund and a real fix to my doors. read more

Their win a free bathroom is a scam. They have to come to your house and do an estimate. Then if you dont qualify for financing then your name gets enter to win. So dont pay out right if you want a chance. Sales guy was there 4 hours with high pressure for my 80 year old mother. Got their money that day. Took 8 weeks to start the 2 day project. It took over 2 months to actually finish the job. Wouldn't return phone calls or text messages. Then the plumbing leaked and took a month to fix the hole in ceiling. On 1/13/26 I got an in home estimate for a tub-shower conversion with additional, sink, vanity, toilet, and flooring from West Shore Home . Total was $24,881. Financing was discussed and unfortunately I signed contract, what I didn't realize as this was the total, there was no itemized list of costs for individual items, ie: sink, vanity, toilet, shower material, flooring, or fixtures. There was 3 days in which to cancel. I asked sales person for this information, once I received contract via email on 1/13/26 and reviewed it again. On the front page of contract it stated she had sent me an itemized list of items I requested on 1/13/26. That part of page 1 of contract did not copy. She responded that she had not been asked for itemized list and would find out, Texted again on Sat 1/17/26 and again on Monday 1/19/26 x 2. By then I had decided I didn't want to go forth with this project, it was too much money to not know what the cost breakdown was . She referred me to cancellation. Having spoken with them was told that there is no cancellation once you sign and the 3 day window to cancel has gone. You can cancel if company allows, and you can pay 35% of total which would be $ 8,000. Unlike many other companies they only offer a 1 year warranty. I only wish to cancel this contract, realizing I am beyond the 3 days which ended on 1/16/26. I was not given an itemized list as I had requested, and did not know what the $24,881 included. How much was the cost of toilet, vanity, fixtures, sink, flooring, These can be low end or high end products. Common courtesy should have prevailed, and when someone wants to cancel such a huge contract it may have been more productive to give an itemized list to customer. Westshore Homes had a contest to win free window replacement on Facebook. Entering meant you would have to disclose your cell phone number and email. I did so and within 24 hours a woman called me seemingly elated about something and asked if I would like for Westshore to measure my windows. She did not mention that I might have won. I told her they could come measure the windows. A salesman showed up at my door later that day. At no point was I told by him that I had won. He talked in a quiet voice and talked about how great their windows are. He whispered "Our windows last for 100 years" He told me that my windows were useless and I really needed to have them replaced. I knew that or else I would not have entered the contest. He then wanted to see if I qualified to buy the service from WSH. He began to give me multiple "discounts" for being a first responder which I am not nor have I ever been. He asked about my income and I told him my net was about 31K. He then told me I didn't make enough so he was going to input that I made 50K. I told him that wasn't true and that I can't afford it. He talked constantly about how great the windows were and that they even provide financing at 10% interest and that no bank would give me that low of an interest rate. I told him my bank would for it for 5.9% but he just talked over me and told me that I would not be allowed to use any other financial institution. He also told me not to check any reviews on them other than the ones at their site. He told me they only use Experian for credit checks. I knew all credit agencies access your debt but he reiterated that they only use Experian and that I would have to go to their site to access it. I told him I had structural issues that would need to be addressed and he continued to talk over me or tell me that WSH could do a total remodel for me. Any hesitation that I offered was shut down as soon as I tried to assert it. I did not sign anything and he finally left. I tried calling the number that the woman who'd asked for permission to come to my house used to call me and it just rang and no one answered. In the coming days the salesman would return to my house many times including once with another man who was very tall and both acted as if they didn't know the other man would be there. He went around outside the house doing something but I am not sure what since the salesman kept me occupied with talking about how great their services are. The salesman left but the other man stayed. He came to the door with a small plastic container which was full of murky purple liquid. He told me I had "layers upon layers of lead paint" . I told him I would call DHEC and he told me not to because they were authorized to remove it. That seemed like another fishy thing to me. Since the murky water was purple I checked into what color shows up for lead positive and it was red. I went to my doctor and told her I wanted my blood checked for lead and they found none. Some days afterward the salesman returned with a tiny tablet and told me he needed me to sign or initial many things I couldn't see at all. Some tiles were so small I could barely see them let alone know anything about what was being said. He asked for my SSN and I told him he only needed the last four digits and he said they need the whole thing "for tax purposes" I felt coerced and very anxious. I never reported that to anyone until now. I was never given the opportunity to cancel. They are suing me for $7500 for failing to cancel read more

I cannot recommend this company and would urge you to find another provider. We discovered unknown structural issues preventing their install and they charged us a $6000 cancelation fee for doing nothing but harassing us. They are setup to scam you and we sincerely wish we had never called the. Stay away!! read more

Deceptive, unreliable and untrustworthy! Don't waste your time with this company. They deserve less than a zero rating if that was possible. I scheduled an appointment for a bathroom remodeling job at my home. They called me two days prior to confirm, but no-showed on me. When I called that evening to explain that I took off work early to make this appointment, they apologized (citing their customer service employee being fired that day as the reason for the trouble) then promised a sales rep would be at my house the next afternoon as a priority visit. They no-showed again! This time they cited a computer error that did not connect the customer service office to the sales reps in the field. However, I gave them one more chance. They told me the regional sales manager would come to my house in person and offer a nice discount to offset the poor service we had seen up to this point. When the manager arrived at my house, she quoted a price that was far higher than the competitors' bids! I was insulted by an invoice that was $7,000 above other companies - and West Shore was not even able to handle all of the remodeling work I requested. They were charging a huge price to only replace the tub with a shower. Here is the kicker... Through no action of my own, the local office of West Shore reached out to me by phone to say that the quote we received was the wrong price. The branch manager would be able to offer more flexibility on the final prices if we scheduled another meeting at my house. I agreed to the meeting with one condition: I told the woman on the phone that I had already been inconvenienced by the two no-shows, and I was already insulted by the extremely high price quote, so I would only be willing to leave work early to take this final meeting if a significant discount was being offered. I said that 5-10% off the price would not even be close, so they better be willing to shave off 20-30% as a starting point, but I hoped for better. The woman told me she was typing my comments into the file and the manager would have plenty of freedom to offer a better price. I had the meeting with the manager today. How insulting! He tried to put pressure on me to say that his "special deal" was only being offered to me if I booked the job today. However, the new price was not even 10% lower than the original outrageous number! The new quote from West Shore was still considerably higher than the competitors prices - West Shore claimed to be going out of their way to make the 4th appointment worth my while. Ha! What horrible, horrible people! I told the manager that I was struggling to control my anger as I kicked him out of my house for the lies his company was telling. He questioned if the competitive quotes were the same quality (which they were). His response seemed very desperate. They knew I had other quotes. My biggest complaint: I warned them not to waste my time with a new appointment unless the new quote was going to be 20-30% lower or better than their first sky-high price. They failed! They lied! I had a bathroom remodel with west shore homes an they canceled the day of the reinstall an then couldn't reschedule me for another 3 weeks..This is not what they promised when they came to my home. They explained that I would be taken care of, everything would run smoothly..Now today, it's a different story..All I was offered was to reschedule my appointment for 3 weeks away. I should have been offered a discount since they were not holding up there end of the deal. Not one time in the in the original appointment did they say " oh if our installers get sick we will have to resudule "..
